Household CO2 releases in France and carbon sink

by Christophe » 27/05/07, 20:31

Following this subject, it seemed interesting to recreate a specific topic on the CO2 report of the French.

Here is the balance sheet, according to Ademe, the average CO2 releases of each French household and their breakdown:

And here is the CO2 balance of the "Earth" ecosphere:

To read absolutely in detail, in particular the part on the evolution of the capacity of soils to fix carbon under the effect of heating ... it's "cold" in the back ...

Note the "considerable" part of the carbon stored in the intermediate and deep oceans ...

As a bonus, a small calculator of CO2 http://www.mycarbonfootprint.eu/fr/carboncalculator1.asp (mais un peu trop "généraliste" à mon sens...)
