election results, ECOLO breakthrough in 20 percent and + !!

by Christophe » 07/06/09, 18:51

The 1st election figures fall: the Belgian ECOLO party is around 20%, it is the Political Party which has progressed the MOST! About 10 points won since the last polls!

In some constituencies Ecolo even achieves 25% !!! It's enormous !! Image I am all overwhelmed !!! Ecology finally becomes a TRUE "POWERFUL" PARTY which will count HEAVY for the CONTINUATION !!

This is all the more interesting as we are in a period of crisis and uncertainty where ecology should "logically" take second place!

Good I hope it will be the same on the European side, but I doubt it ... in my opinion it will tater more the 10% than the 20% but we are not safe from a GOOD surprise!

Please note, this only concerns the elections of the 4 major Belgian regions (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels and Germanic) which took place at the same time as the Europeans. We as a foreigner were able to vote but only to Europeans.

Edit, here are the results Monday morning, the trend is even better in France!

Here are some figures that are heart-warming (result and progress):

PS 29% -11%
MR 24% -2%
GREEN 24% + 14 %

Too bad Ecolo does not arrive in the lead nor in 2nd position anywhere ... from what I could see ...

LET'S GO GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a little disappointed by the green parties of this election ...

there were 2:

- a really extreme leftist, with impractical ideas (minimum income of existence ... unless you take 90% tax from the rich, I don't see how to do it ...)

- another was represented by Francis Lalanne, who, although his convictions are perfectly commendable, has a fairly folkloric public image, and is even a little scary in the collective spirit. So, it doesn't really make you want to vote for them ...

Finally, I hope my vote has been useful ...

really not easy, no party suits me completely, I would need a mix of a few ...

14.8% for Europe Ecology in France to Europeans according to the 1st estimates!

Well done!! It's better than I thought !!

Good now: ACTION will not have to take voters for pipe tails!

On the other hand I am quite outraged by the 28% for the UMP while "everyone" yells against the government ...

Finally 28% that means that 72% did not vote for them ...

I regret not having put the field in the cool to celebrate the victory of my mustachioed fantasy! I am very happy to have voted well: p

Barvo Arthur, I'm happy with your decision!

You know me either am not 100% ok with the greens or bové ... but I even less agree with the PS or the UMP ...

For the abstention, it was not you who said a few hours ago that you were against making compulsory voting?

I did politics at the RPR there was a time (very far), I had my UDF card, so I slip! : Lol:

For the record, I voted green by using my hunting license as ID. It made me laugh.
