Growth and sustainable development: incompatible?

by mnjl523 » 18/01/07, 16:25

hello I am in first ES and I do TPE. My problem is "Can we reconcile our growth model with the objective of sustainable development?", which is a hot topic, and difficult to tackle.
This is why I ask you for help because I and my comrades are very late, the deadline of our TPE being in 3 weeks !!!!
Please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not at all incompatible, it is even one of the foundations of econology ...

Here is what I replied to mamoizelle by email:

"yes, but that implies radically changing the current foundations of wealth creation based precisely on the depletion of resources and exponential consumption (or almost) ...

This new way of thinking is called: econology"
