I found that the aspect of tax evasion and tax evasion of large incomes and multinationals is not mentioned enough. Yes of course currently we can say that the system is very complex and it is basically the middle classes who pay the benefits of the poorest, but the poorest also pay.
Talking about personalities like Depardieu is interesting, but we should also have talked about multinationals.

Raymon for me the biggest tax fraud is the scam of the public debt ... yet very legal but which has enslaved people to the banks ...
This also nobody in the mass media talks about it ... or very rarely ... like Philippe Seguin (some time before his death ...)

Historically, before the invention of money, and even after (since its use has long been very different from that used today), the exchange between individuals was done not in the context of simple barter, as we imagine often, but through debt (which allowed for unequal trade) ...
This is why the use of debt to extort illegitimate funds, whether at the expense of the neo-colonized countries or of the social categories in decline of the central countries, is a particularly vicious extractivist tool, because backed to a very strong anthropological phenomenon.

"Please don't believe what I'm telling you."
Do not confuse "taxes" and "debt".
The tax, in its essence, is a pooling of the contribution of each other to common needs.
The links then appear: in particular, it is curious to see the fears generated in the United States today by the sum of individual debts incurred to finance one's studies. In short, everyone manages to finance their studies, by means of which, they then reimburse the exorbitant bill of studies in a prestigious university, but will have the "happiness" of paying less taxes.
It will be clear to everyone that access to the loan is not the same depending on the capital and guarantees that your family can offer!
The big winners: migrants = young Europeans, who have been paid for their studies by public effort in their country of origin, and will not have to pay taxes for this in their country of arrival, but will not reimburse either loan !!! Jackpot! No wonder it is so attractive!

Income tax is only a small part of taxes ...
Even if, today, the IRPP (income tax) is used to reimburse interest of debt, it is important to remember that it was not created for that. No more than one can say that a salary is for alcohol because with such an alcoholic, it has become the case ...
Because otherwise, there is nothing left but to embark on one of the extremes, with the success that the Germans experienced 70 years ago or that the Greeks will experience from tomorrow ...
