Roadmap: America in bankruptcy

a report by Elise Le Guevel and Vincent Barral
Without salaries, pensions cut, security and police drastically reduced, the United States is at the foot of the wall, crushed by the weight of debt.
Many cities and even some states are on the brink of bankruptcy. To avoid filing for bankruptcy, these local authorities are forced to make heavy sacrifices. Jefferson County in Alabama, the equivalent of a French department, is a shining example. With 4 Billion dollars in debt, he is about to win the record for the biggest bankruptcy of a local community in the United States. Forced by its creditors on Wall Street, the county can no longer pay one-third of its officials, and drastically reduces its public services. The municipality of Prichard has even gone further: for nearly two years, it has removed the pensions of its former employees.
As for Detroit, city symbol of the economic recession, the town hall has purely and simply decided to abandon certain districts.
Travel to a America plagued by deficits.
The summary does not say that these 4 billion were actually a loan of 250 million originally ... there are about ten years. So these are not deficits but usurious debts that plague America!
