Thank you for the information I did not know!

Right to pollute with impunity given by Bush and Lobby !!

With staggering lies by the US and Obama !!
http://www.america.gov/st/texttrans-eng ... distid=ucs
The Obama administration in the United States believes that the intensification of the exploitation of shale gas will reduce emissions of greenhouse gases [4].
This initiative will help Reduce greenhouse gas emission, promote energy security and create Business Opportunities for US companies through:

Chemicals are added to water to facilitate the fracturing process used to liberate the natural gas. The volumes of contaminated water are usually kept in surface ponds before being transported by tanker or reinjected into the ground.

The documentary film Gasland (2010) Josh Fox, who discusses the impact of hydraulic fracturing, the critical statements of the industry on the safety of the process as well as the exemption from the Safe Drinking Water Act (Act safe drinking water) it obtained in the Energy Policy Act of 2005 ....
A study published by Professor Robert W. Howarth of Cornell University in 2010 [7] notes that once calculated the impact of fugitive methane emissions in the life cycle emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) produced by the shale gas would be higher than those of coal and oil.

Methane (CH4) is by far the main component of natural gas. It is a greenhouse gas 25 times more powerful than the CO2 [8] .....
In 2007, shale gas deposits were prominent among the major gas fields in the United States in terms of production volumes; thus, the Barnett / Newark East ranked 2e rank, while Antrim figured 13e up [11].

A study by the MIT estimates that natural gas will provide 40% of the energy needs of the United States in the future, against 20% today, thanks in part to the abundant shale gas reserves [12].
Canada [change]

Recent discoveries of shale gas has caused a sharp increase in estimates of recoverable natural gas in Canada [13]. In 2009, a Government of Canada report estimates a potential of 1 000 trillion cubic feet of recoverable shale gas [14]. There are a number of areas suitable for shale gas in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia [15] ....

Their families ble to light tap water on fire as well as Suffering from Numerous health issues and fearing Their water wells contaminated HAD beens ....
Then Fox set out to see how Being Communities are affected in the west Where a natural gas drilling boom has-been Underway for the last decade. He Spent time with citoyens In Their homes and on Their land As They Relayed Their Stories of natural gas drilling in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Texas, Among Others. He spoke with residents-have Who Experienced a variety of chronic health problems as well as contamination of Their air, water wells or water surface. In Some instances, gas companies are the replacing the affected drinking water supplies with water or water purification kits ....

Finally, if we sum all possible fossil fuels in the earth, it is almost certain that we have something to not only overheat the earth with too much CO2 (even C! Allegre approve), but to burn all the oxygen in our air and could not breathe, so it resists boiling !! !!!

The oxygen in our air is renewed almost all about 200000 years, and for over 600millions years, its production by photosynthesis has given the same time the carbon is 600x1Million / 200mille = 3000 times more than it takes to burn all the oxygen of the air on earth
Even if only one in a thousand has accumulated in the soil deep, oil, coal and others, there remains enough burn time 3 our oxygen !!
This not to mention the abiotic oil that is in addition formed from the carbon stored deep under the rocks !!

The end of oil is not for tomorrow, but that of men is much closer then burnt, suffocated by the CO2 and without oxygen !!

You put your finger on a point that has always surprised me: in CO2 always speaks of excess, but never in the consumption of oxygen!

I often tell myself that I will have to try to understand the oxygen cycle, but not have the time.

One advantage: the survivors need less antioxidant?

If we had talked about, not the decrease O2 but its water processing ...

They had asked long ago, on the transformation of O2 and H2 fossils in H2O and its possible impact on the water cycle (evaporation natural vs. anthropogenic creation) and therefore the climate ...

It was so long ago that I can find more to the subject in question ... should therefore start reasoning.

By cons I found this: https://www.econologie.com/forums/centrale-n ... t8511.html

What permetra to already have some variables in mind ...

If O2 is recovered from water, produces hydrogen. Hydrogen is a light gas will climb high atmosphere and gradually escape into space despite the protection provided by our magnetosphere.
As against the plants do from CO2. So by burning carbon stocks that produced oxygen is repiège oxygen in the CO2 which it originated.

former oceanic notes:

very accurate, and happy because without life, the earth with that of CO2 would cramée as the planet Venus, slightly less hot !!
The biggest huge part of CO2 was put in carbonates by life, Shells, corals, diatoms, etc .. with thousands of meters of limestone on earth, whose spring CO2 depths with volcanoes, with continental drift which descends part in terrestrial depths !!
The cycle H2O, C, CO2, O2, H2, N2, Ca, S, Fe, etc .. is very complex with tens of thousands of studies further understand everything !!!
Nothing assures us of the stability of our atmosphere !!

Hello

Who benefits from this gas exploitation (a few large private companies, no interest for the Quebec population just a job, it was enough clean electricity to the dam not need these dirty methods of extration of the gas it, the or leaves it. it was quite an example with the mining industry,
Whether asbestos, gold, uranium, copper, nickel, operates and created very few jobs, Qand he finished, he is surrendering a large amount of waste, and even their equipment in far north, you do not even know what a company Numero it belongs. Most often it disappear even with the employee pension fund.
They even had chechent want to exploit oil in the estuary of the St. Lawrence River.
The population arcqueboute for shale gas as it did for uranium prospecting dernierment (we do not need is just to sell on the outside and make us die of cancer)

When you see these piles of asbestos tailings as mining companies and we left it for generations

"Burning Water - is about a farming family in Alberta who live on the 'boom' of oil and gas exploration. But there's a catch: the water is flammable ..."

From Saturday, 2 October, the Cinema du Parc in Montreal, will present the documentary "The water burns," produced in collaboration with CBC News.

It's distressing story of an Alberta family living in the countryside, whose drinking water has been contaminated by the exploitation of natural gas. The gas company says the methane that is found in their water is of natural origin, although the plaintiffs have demonstrated the presence of chemicals made by man. Neither the city nor the province do not want help and they find themselves trapped ...

The Coalition of Physicians for a healthy environ (MWA) fears an increase in diseases related to air pollution if Quebec goes ahead with the exploitation of shale gas.

"Indeed, we believe that the health and the lives of citizens of quality are threatened," the group wrote in its brief, which will be filed in the environmental public hearings bureau (BAPE) in the coming days.

Like many, the MWA is concerned for consumer water and groundwater. But it is the air pollution which may well have the most concrete effects on the population with an increase in smog.

"The dust raised by the armada of trucks to continual water transport and materials of all sortescontribueront to the increase of harmful air pollutants," wrote Jacques Levasseur who served for over 35 years as a family physician on South Shore.

Quebec silent on leaks from the well to Leclercville

Published January 21 2011 to 05h00 | Updated January 21 2011 to 05h00

In recent months, there was a problem with the Talisman's shale gas wells in Leclercville, enough to provide significant resources to correct it. Talisman undertook at the beginning of the work to stop a leak in 2000 m deep. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Wildlife (MRNF) has authorized the work the 9 December.

But it's not in the report that the government has given to public hearings on the environment (BAPE). The report, dated 12 January is supposed to give further details on the BAPE leaks observed in shale gas wells.

The MRNF indicates that there is not observed "no gas migration" in both wells Talisman Leclercville but an "unstabilized gas pressure" was reached after closing the vent.

The industry has "lost control" according Arcand

Published January 21 2011 to 11h06 | Updated January 21 2011 to 13h09

(Lac-Beauport) The shale gas industry "seems to have lost control," believes the Environment Minister Pierre Arcand.

After being reassuring for several months, the minister is now changing course. He confesses now worried. "I myself am extremely concerned about what is happening. I feel that the industry does not have control of the situation. "

Mr. Arcand changed course after learning of recent leaks in some wells, the latest of which was reported this morning in La Presse. He reacted this morning, alongside the pre-session caucus PLQ in Lac-Beauport.

He said even be "extremely concerned" by the leaks.
