you should revise well: after viewing: debate:
is nuclear a polluting energy?
: Mrgreen:

without laughing, it's nice to see that the information is relayed to the French, consumers who are excessive and ignorant of this polluting technology, despite the established omerta ...

for those who want to prepare the debate, I invite you to read this:

: Shock: There would be "grain to grind", as my legal adviser would say ... I really doubt that engaging "future generations" in this kind of "contract" is legal.

Since we are doing a press review, here is the position of the "electricians"
http://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/enviro ... 93933.html
Thomas Branche, from the climate energy directorate of the Ministry of Ecology, in Liberation disputes that the uranium stored in Russia could represent a short-term environmental risk, but admits that "we must remain vigilant". : Mrgreen:

A spokesperson for Areva explains that the fact that anti-nuclear activists consider these materials to be waste is not new, and asserts that EDF is the "real owner" of these materials (even if Areva does a reprocessing, subcontracted to the Russian manufacturer). EDF refused to answer the daily newspaper, contenting itself with affirming that the waste is no longer its property, but that of the Russian industrialist. : Mrgreen:

This Monday, EDF made it clear that "no EDF nuclear waste is transported to Russia". : Mrgreen:

"Radioactive waste from fuel processing remains in France "where it is conditioned and stored" in complete safety "on the La Hague site. : Mrgreen:

"It is only the recyclable uranium, resulting from the treatment of fuels in EDF nuclear power plants, which is transported to Russia to be enriched", assures EDF. (that on the other hand, it is true, because the uranium is so depleted that it is not very profitable to re-enrich it with us) ... hence the constantly repelled opening of a unit modern enrichment :P

"We do not have the technology to re-enrich and chemically re-transform the reprocessed uranium" currently in France, further argues a spokesperson for Areva, which requires sending this depleted uranium to Russia. This technique should, according to him, to be available in 2012 on the factory under construction Georges Besse II, :?: in the Drôme.
