I think you have noticed: we are talking a lot about the Moon at the moment ...

Yesterday I came across a very interesting report on ARTE (which changed the images we have seen for 1 week) which spoke of a possible mining of the Moon. It's completely realistic and far from Science Ficton.

The most interesting element would be ... Helium 3 which makes it possible to make a nuclear fusion by largely reducing (80% I believe) the emissions of neutrons in the reactor (which is apparently the main current problem of fusion on l H2). Several companies are already on the move ... scheduled for 2020.

It has also been said that we can get water (!!) by heating the lunar dust to more than 800 ° C (hey Remundo you should offer your solar concentrator to NASA !!) ... and that they contained, by mass, 40% of O2!

So if we have water and O2 in quantity, 2 big problems with the establishment of an inhabited base are solved!

Good news at last! Hopefully, this is not an empty project (sic!).

A priori, all those likely to be interested in the exploitation of the moon are the most obstinate of the destroyers of our planet and their exile (or at least that of their harmful efforts!) Will bring us a welcome respite!

We appropriate things that never belonged to us, we already knew that, but there it goes far anyway (literally and figuratively), soon we may be selling a piece of distant galaxy, or a passing asteroid this way , to store nuclear waste, or to exploit any wealth.
