Nuclear Energy: all your questions!

by Christophe » 13/08/06, 13:06

Following the proposal of Chuwee (professionel of the medium I believe) on this page ( https://www.econologie.com/forums/catastroph ... 55-10.html ) I create this topic Talking about technology and nuclear safety, especially in France.

So you can ask all the questions about nuclear (civilian) here.

Here it is to you.

I suppose this topic only concerns the current fission reactors, not the future fusion reactors running on lithium hydride?

For the moment the reactors with fission ca me well (and preferably REP).

If you also have questions about atomistic, the phenomenon of fusion or fision, the energy released, the radioactivity, etc ... do not hesitate either ...

I am not saying that I would be able to answer everything but in the worst case, I could inquire.

is it possible to recover heat that requires so pretty these cooling towers to produce electricity ... (own : Mrgreen: )

In Lorraine at Cattenom, larger plants after Gravelines.

A project was underway, that of using the heat of the plant to dry the wood of an industrialist.

If you want I can inquire, I know someone who work at cattenom (I live in Metz and Nancy) but he takes care of the water control so I do not know if this is his area .. .
