Undetermined nuclear accident in Russia, September 2017

by Christophe » 10/11/17, 20:52

A mysterious nuclear accident would have occurred at the end of September in Russia

A massive rejection of ruthenium 106 has been detected in several European countries. Such an event would have required in France a protection of the populations.

What happened at the end of September in the southern regions of the Urals? According to the French supervisory authorities, a nuclear accident was very likely to occur, the nature of which remains mysterious to this day, as Russia has denied any involvement. However, it has generated a very high level of contamination, with potentially serious consequences for neighboring populations.

In early October, the French Institute for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN) issued an alert, reporting the detection, by several European networks for the monitoring of radioactivity in the atmosphere, of an artificial radionuclide, the ruthenium 106, at very low levels

Radioactive cloud detected in October: Russia denies any responsibility

By LEXPRESS.fr, published the 10 / 11 / 2017

...................

The Russian authorities, however, deny any responsibility. "The Rosatom companies have nothing to do with the leak of ruthenium 106" detected in Europe, told AFP the press service of the Russian state company, which manages the activity of all companies in the nuclear sector, military and civilian, in Russia.

The Kazakh company Kazatomprom, the national operator responsible for the production of nuclear fuel, also denied being the source of the leak. "There are no sites in Kazakhstan where a possible leak of this substance could occur", assured his press service.

And if it is not an official thing monitored by the government then it is an unofficial (terrorism ???) or "natural" (a meteorite ???) thing ...

ps: I did not know ruthenium 106 ... https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth%C3%A9nium

Just to locate:
Ruthenium 106 is one of the radionuclides involved in the atmospheric tests of nuclear weapons, which started in 1945, by a US test, and finished in 1980 by a Chinese test. It is among the high half-life radionuclides that have produced and will continue to produce an increased risk of cancer for decades and centuries to come.

Ru 106 has a half-life of 373 days ... We cannot speak of a "large half-life", after 10 years, there is not much left ...

What remains surprising, and disturbing, is the lack of knowledge of the exact origin of this program ... if the responsible company hides it, it is serious; if she did not see it, it's even more serious ...
