No, we did not find a recovery, and new, it is out of our possibilities ... notice to amateurs!

That said, Claude made the bench thinking it was transportable.
We can therefore put it in its trailer, and take it to a dieselist to make pollution measurements.

Can you vary the engine load by program, to perform a particular cycle for example?

We also noted something that it was difficult to highlight before, namely that from one day to the next, with different atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature / hygrometry conditions, we obtain - dry - variations of the motor consumption more or less 10%

: Shock: Super interesting. Have you been able to study if this result obeys a law that follows pressure, temperature, humidity, a mixture of all these parameters or something 'more complicated'?

No, the engine load, we vary it by closing more or less the valve at the hydraulic pump outlet, the mano gives us the resulting pressure, typically of the order of 100 bar at 2500 rpm
The dream would be to have a proportional valve and a hydraulic pressure sensor, but we don't have that in our drawer bottoms, notice to amateurs! : Mrgreen:

There is surely a law, which our diesel engineers know, but we did not push the investigations further on this side there, for lack of time and sensors ...
We stick to this observation to avoid dramatic systematic errors, it's just a question of calibration ...

On the other hand: especially not reserved this bench for doping tests, we know that doping gives little or no results on bench!

We will have to collaborate together when the econo association is up and running, it's a matter of a few more weeks!

In short there are lots of things to test!

ps: for pollution, the TCB of Maloche can already do the trick ... to start!

Still need to be explained to me: it would work on loaded tractors and why wouldn't it work if we reproduce the same load?

What I think would be very interesting is to test gradual and measured introductions of HHO or vapor, with or without manipulation of the lambda probe.

Where is this wonder?

Two things:

a) a STRONG load is required
b) load variations are needed around the high load. Apparently it is the diesel regulator which must "work", that is to say that it must regulate continuously to compensate for the variations in torque required for work. This is where the results are the most interesting.

With constant load point b) is not made possible.

b) also explains the lack of results on a generator (often constant charge)

Plowing in a field is never constant as a load and close to the maximum torque ... this is why it is in this case that we find the best results even if the same tractor passed on the bench gives a result 0

QED ...

In short: benches that make dynamic loads must be made!
