According Molier diagram, here is a plot of the saturation of water in the air. It estimates the% relative humidity (% RH) following an air temperature very easily.
I put the curve in a dedicated topic because I had enough trouble finding this curve and has the advantage of being clear enough in relation to a complete Molier diagram you find this message in .pdf: fixtures-injection water / moisture-curve-de-saturation-of-the-air-and-rh-mollier-t5928-10.html # p180536

?????? this curve does nothing to know the RH in the air relative to the temperature, but just to know the amount of water in the air cooling to reach the dew point.

Huh?
The moisture content relative to its temperature is variable .... it is fixed that the saturation or 100% RH ...
It allows good to know, according to the T °, weight following the% RH and vice versa ...
The air (pure) can never contain more than saturation, so follow the curve 100% to know how many grams of water in a maximum air m3 ...

Here, we are not quite agree. I thought you were talking about a way to measure. Sorry, we did not understand.
(Besides, I say the same thing in other words)

No not at all ... it's just a "physical conversion" ...
Many devices give the% RH but few people know how much water in their room ca exactly. It also lets you know when you make a doping saturation how it is ...
Example with the thermometer:
41% to 25 ° C thus give 10 grams of water per m3.
If your room is 5 5 * * 2,5 it makes you 625 grams of water in the air in the room ... and 41% is considered dry enough!

About that:
At home, there is too much moisture in the house. (The poor over 120 years )
With 21 degree in the house, one has the sensation of being cold.
We want to turn the poel wood warms you so entrails.
I wonder if the humidity decrease with any device ?, would be the solution.
My father was a simple device, which in diquait comfort level depending on the temperature and humidity.
There was no batteries, but a ??? of hair which according to the growing or stretched moisture, and had an action on the indicator needle.
So I want to buy a device that dries the air; but I do not know which
It would be cheaper than burning wood, but Nuclear

Ah moisture is cancer of the old house (and poorly made modern ...) ...
In your case should already know how many% RH you are ...
Then a solution: dehumidify ...
There are several possible solution but some are more effective than others.
Do a search I believe we already have quite raised the subject: it is best to fight the problem at its source ... (no pun intended) ...

The grandfather of your device is simply a hygrometer, humidity fact extend or retract the hair which causes a needle on a dial. It works very well and is surprisingly accurate, I was made to me with a horse hair long and the day I bought a more sophisticated electronics and I was pleased to find that the first also reacted finely and with equal precision.

It is also in a pretty old house and a little damp,
in the entrance hallway which is slightly heated, it has a moisture absorber Rubson (I admit this is not the most environmentally friendly, but on the other hand when it's dry, it heats better, so fuel economy, so a small profit still for ecology )
It should also ventilate your house.
