Mounting G-Pantone Argentina on FIAT 619 DIESEL TRUCK

by rodibruno » 27/04/08, 17:35

Hello friends:
There is realizao an assembly on a truck FIAT 619 of 240 HP, the consumption of this truck is very high: 60 liters of diesel every 100km. Still (again) I have no result of the measurements, and they miss me making some adjustments, of course, I had problems here too with the floating tank: it scares me !!
I am asking for help to solve the water level problems, be already by a high tank or by tank below level.
Thank you
Rodolfo

where is your float?
if you bubbled through the water in the tank you have to mix the float at the same pressure so in the tank, since the roads in your country are in reverse and you have to place it the most to the axis of the tank so in the center.
Bravo for your achievements

Thank you Binbins:
I cannot interpret your concept, I must also place the reservoreo in a higher place. In its current position, it (it) does not work in total of the capacity of the tank, but further from that, the float has an errant conduct, for example, after having stopped the running of the engine, by the purged tube of the bubbler he (she) sends water, or who works above the level of the floating tank ...
Thank you!!

hi you have to balance the tank pressure constant level:
Image

did you use the vulcano system for the bubbler? engine coolant heating? (hot water hot engine)

if not something else: you also use vegetable oil as a replacement for diesel engines?

congratulations again for your achievements, but yes you should ask for consumption measurements!

Thank you very much Jonule:
do you really think that the fault is due to the lack of compensation between the entry of water to the float and its exit (departure)?
I will experience it !!

I don't know, here the "(constant) level tanks" are made with DIY heating radiator "bleeders"!

Homemade floating

Hi :
Are they "purgadores" of heating radiators?
Not as the floating of these found (located), I "made" it from a depòsito de lìquido of a brake, a small ball of extended poliuretano, and a needle of carburetor with seat.
thank you!

Hello again,

you're productive ... it's encouraging all of that.
thank you for the photos, that makes presentations well here ...

for the float ... I'll think about it, on the generator there is no problem, but I'm going to dig! :D
strongly the results .... in Africa (Togo) we were offered to mount a large refrigerated truck, but as we have no experience with large engines (so small tractor that's all) we refused to do stupidity.

240HP: double reactors ....
What diameter rod and tube ??

Thank you

Hi :
I do not carry a register (control) of the assemblies ....
This is very bad !!, but I believe to remember that the rods are 20mm and the internal diameter of 22mm the length 13 or 14 cm.
Always (Again) we have to make some changes, I believe this Saturday.
Thank you

ok thank you, that gives an idea ... :D
I ask myself this question for large motors:
when do we put 2 or 3 reactors :?:
or we put a very large reactor (35mm diameter for example) :?:

Maybe at Hypnow they have an answer .. they market double and triple reactors?
