Laigret project: progress and timeline

by Christophe » 16/10/08, 17:58

Here is a small chronology that will be completed as the Laigret project progresses. Casually we worked well in less than 2 months and still it is that the part emerged there! Congratulations to everybody!

Early May 2008:
Publication of the 1er article (from Science et Vie) about Laigret:
https://www.econologie.com/biomasse-petr ... x-laigret/
https://www.econologie.com/telechargemen ... r-laigret/

25 July 2008: creation of the subject Laigret
biofuel / petroleum-du-renewable-by-jean-Laigret-t5802.html

1er August 2008: first "new" synthetic with the CRs of the academy of sciences found thanks to the subject created on July 25:
https://www.econologie.com/du-petrole-in ... mentation/
https://www.econologie.com/telechargemen ... -sciences/

18 August 2008: launching of the Laigret project idea by C moa (ludovic on the mailing) and the following discussion

Biofuels / group-of-work project-oil-of-dr-jean-Laigret-t5922.html

The same days we created the following topics:

Biofuels / project Laigret-documentation-t6118.html
Biofuels / project Laigret-experimentation-t6287.html
Biofuels / project-what-Laigret-license open source-t6180.html
Biofuels / project Laigret-the-finance-and-search-of-funds-t6109.html

End of September 2008: recovery (thank you Capt_Maloche) documents from the Institut Pasteur in Paris, cruel disappointment because there is almost nothing more than what we already knew.

Biofuels / project-documentation-Laigret t6118-10.html

There was a lot of hope on these documents.

3 October 2008: opening of the section Laigret on the site for a little synthesize all this, with notably as article:

https://www.econologie.com/petrole-biologique-laigret/
https://www.econologie.com/documentation ... t-laigret/
https://www.econologie.com/lancement-projet-laigret/

16 October 2008: recovery of the unique patent of Laigret which includes (for a patent) a lot of biolological indications. It can thus constitute a good base of work for the first experiments.

27 October 2008: 2h phone chat (2h30 with microphone problem :D) between C moa and me.

Summary of the progress of the investigation of c moa:

a) Serious contact with Anger IUT specialized in micro biology, answer shortly if they can / want to work on a study.

b) Launch of 2 pre-feasibility projects in his old school: the ESAIP is already underway and it lasted until March 2009 (on the other hand it will be only "theoretical" no manipulation therefore)

c) Nice phone contact with the Pasteur Institute of Tunis. They are very interested but we do not know yet how they work. He hopes to get there in real time before the end of the year.

d) At the level of the administrative structure: the dilemma always arises between a sarl and an association, but one spoke about the fact of making 2 even to be attached to an existing association. For the moment, the project does not require a structure but in 6 months at 1 year, this may be the case so you have to be clear on this point in order to be quite responsive.

Hello,
I just read "Retrofutur" and it is about Laigret.
What about, 10 years later, the "Laigret project" initiated here?
Sincerely,
JB

I do not know about the forumstudents from an engineering school were interested and made a study report.
Originally, the study focused on the feasibility of realizing
crude oil from Clostridium Perfringens bacteria
under the conditions described in the LAIRGET study. The
information as to the continuation of the study being little
many and the difficulty of carrying out the project, because of
pathogenicity of the bacteria, were right to
change problems and take an interest in creation
of biofuel and not only to the creation of
crude oil.
