Building your own kit to run on ethanol E85

That's it I create a new topic as a result of that onebecause here I will not talk about the existing kits in the trade, but indeed the construction of a kit for a few euros.

I discovered on Saturday that I could run on ethanol with my petrol car (a 2.0l 98l multi-point injection laguna from XNUMX), so I looked at it! The kits are expensive, it's theft compared to the actual function of the kit!

Here are some detailed explanations on the operation of kits in general, which I use with my own kit.

And here are the details of the construction of the kit

All I hope is that this topic will demystify the operation of these kits to prevent you getting fooled if you want to ride with 100% ethanol E85!

Hello,
I also made a home kit, but a little simpler.
I took the signal elec injection via optocouplers, and amplified by transistor, and I simply power an 5 eme additional injector in front of solenoid valve ramenti.
My mix is enriched with 25%

You only have one injector?

It is an injection 4 semi-sequential points

Its mean that I have 4 injectors that inject 2 X 2 pairs once so 2 cylinders, then 2 cylinders.
It is an economic compromise with the single point injection (1 injector for 4 cylinders)
