Is it possible a hydrogen gas engine?

Hello

Out of curiosity and personal experimentation project I would like to know if you would find it possible to provide gaseous hydrogen at a defined pressure to a modified carburetor to supply an engine.

I am interested in this process given the cost of liquefaction of hydrogen much too expensive.

Thank you for any information regarding this topic
