It made me want to share with you an idea that has been in my head for some time:

Make your own Pellets.

My 2 beautiful brothers have fireplaces and are equipped with briquette presses to make "logs" with old newspapers.
The device (outiror) is summary and impractical.
After some thought, I said to myself that the best solution would be to use an "axial" press like the one you describe to make its HVB or better, to make its pellets with an extruder press.
I know the principle (syringe to fuss fairgrounds) but not all the subtleties of manufacturing.
I therefore request your comments and remarks.

You have to have 1 sacred Pellets flow for this to be profitable ... there are ready-made machines that are not so expensive ...

The few pellet stoves I saw require a small fan. No electricity, no fire ... Is it not better to use wood stoves or sawdust that heat without electricity?

There is really sick of all these devices that are supposed to be competitors of the electric heating and do not work from the first cut EDF.
My gas boiler is the same: no night light, auto ignition. Result, more heating and DHW as soon as there is more current !!!

Calm, the electric conso is quite reduced (50 to 100 W) compared to the thermal power (6000 12 000 W) ...

And then better is a judicious regulation allowing efficiency> 80% and a safety or an old stove that runs at full speed all night with an efficiency of 40%?

Certainly, but what to do in case of power failure?

it's not all about compressing the chips, you also have to dehydrate them

if not in Ste Sabine (between dordogne and lot and garonne) there is a box that manufactures all types of pellets.

for rabbits, horses, piglets, etc.

I think dehydration is done at the same time as the compression (spinning water that is imcompressible), NO?
