Choosing a generator for a wind turbine

by mohammed » 27/05/09, 00:50

hi all.
I have a 1.5 kw (10A) single-phase centrifugal water pump which pumps water at a height of 60 m.
I would like to see the power of my wind generator and notions on the regulation of the tension of my wind turbine.
also the diameter of the pals.

You have to tell us how long your pump will run on a day.

Either you choose a big model that you connect directly, or you use accumulators and an inverter, the inverter must have the capacity to start your pump therefore 2000 or 3000 watts.

The size of the wind turbine depends on the available wind and the operating time of the pump.
