Hello everyone
I just walked the forum on renewable energy especially the sun and I decided to register
Good already I live in Brazil and for solar energy it can be a plus (it is certain even) and especially I live 500 km north of Rio in Vitoria ..
I am therefore in one of the sunniest regions of the world
with more than 320 sunny days per year, and an average temperature of 25 in winter and 32 in summer
Above all, I have the advantage of having a ranch of 50 HECTARES (of the family) which is in a '' basin '' surrounded by hills which also belong to me.
I would therefore like to install photoelectric cells, initially just to do my duty as a citizen and not to use energy from the network
and secondly, providing people around the ranch with free energy and creating some sort of independent energy company that could be a great substitute for the electricity grid here.
here it is
I am looking for details on the effective sunshine rates here and know the best performance and where to install the cells and a first contact with you as well.
of course I'm actively researching and reading some info that the people of forum may already have maps, info etc
see you all soon
[edit Christine: changed title]

Hello Johann.
Say cool for you, Brazil, sun, big landowner and in addition close to the sea!
Bravo for coming from so far away to "see" us and bravo also for wanting to get started in renewable energies.
I let the photovoltaic professionals answer you ...
Do you already have thermal solar?
Aren't you tempted by wind turbines?
Can you tell us about the cultivation of agrofuels in Brazil?

Hello
big landowner? ahhaa you're kidding .. here it's not like in France 50 hectares = a small piece of land
my wife's uncle has 1500 hectares and the others have coffee in the 500 hectares
I have the opportunity to buy a 5000 hectare fazenda for 2million euros to make biofuel .. here it is quite easy to find large land for a good price compared to France of course
if not back to our sheep, I just took the gps coordinates of my ranch
if it's interesting to see where it is
20.35.851 S
040.32.600 O
altitude 266m (and more than 400 on the top of the mountain)
tropical climate of course
the sun passes him on the side of my mountain in the morning and on the other side of the other mountain which also belongs to me in the afternoon, in addition it is just grass so easy I think to install panels without having to clear
I will speak again in another message about agrofuel
my car, a 307, runs on biofuel and gasoline too ...
here it is normal and it works very well unless it is not very efficient in performance .. a full 60 liters = 350 -400 km but hey
I take pictures of the ranch also to have a better vision
see you soon
johann
