First of all, hello!

The vacuum cleaner is the delivery man who provides it. Otherwise, Okofen provides a kind of big "sock". And that is why it is necessary to put two connectors: one in the middle to blow the pellets, the other on the side to collect the dusty air without sucking the pellets.

The utility is simple: the pellets are "blown" from the truck by a large volume of air; this air is charged with dust; air must be evacuated from the silo while retaining dust; my supplier therefore uses this kind of large vacuum cleaner.

I'm not sure, but I suppose moreover that the vacuum cleaner extracts more air than the truck blows and so the silo is slightly depressed (so even if it was not completely waterproof - mine is), this would prevent the dust invades the premises ...

Me I'm not going to say that I wait for the winter with impatience (it would be silly considering that had a rotten summer here) but I would like to see my boiler en route.

In any case for now solar is turning and we are happy.

Effectively.

I always remember that I do not advertise a given brand. For specialists, I remind you that this is a PESK 15 (condensing) from Okofen. The 1st photo also shows the condenser, "grafted" on the boiler, before the gas leaves in the chimney: the gases are "blown" downwards by a fan, against the flow of cold water return. The "washing machine-style hose" is the exchanger rinsing system (two automatic rinses per day).

The interest of these photos is to show details usually hidden because the installer had to disassemble the boiler to invert the silo-relay and enter local and luckily I was off work (well, by bad luck: following an infarction!).

I will comment as soon as Christophe tells me how to do it.

And I am always ready to answer all the questions, and to supplement with other photos, which can specify a detail, according to the interest of each one (either on the wire, or by mp).

The Okofen "volcano" burner (seen from above): in the middle, arrival of the pellets; two air inlet pipes (pulsed by a variable fan controlled by the computer); at an angle: the thermal probe for ignition (like a heat gun); above: the outlet of an air supply pipe for the post-combustion of the combustion gases (supplies the space around the burner) ...

The "Belimo" safety valve control system: closes automatically in the event of a problem (including in the event of a power cut: closing activated by a spring, therefore energy stored; opening requires current); prevents any "flashback" to the boiler silo in the event of an anomaly such as a power cut ...

C) Heat exchanger with cleaning springs

Detail on the body of the boiler, without cover, seen from above; with the "turbulators" in which the gases circulate; the springs create turbulence for better heat exchange with the water circulating in the crown; they are animated once a day to release the soot that settles (automatic cleaning - one motor for all the springs + compacting of the ash in the ashtray); we see on the right and on the left, pipes closed by a welded plug (= clamping, to reduce the power to 15 kW, from the "bodywork" of the 20 kW).
