Ah good idea ... I still had a head the old version ... (this site is in the directory)

63 * 0,8 GW Nuclear in France = 50 GW

1,3 * 0,2 GW wind turbine in France = 0,26 GW

Wind / nuclear ratio = 0,52% ...
Wind / total ratio France = 0,41% (taking 80% of nuclear electricity for the France total)

Here is a news of a technology that should improve the load factor of wind turbines:

The efficiency of the Stormblade Turbine should be 70% versus 30-40% for current three bladed models, which means that this design exceeds the Beltz limit (59%) maximum efficiency for wind turbines. Jonanovic estimates that his wind turbine will be able to produce electricity for a wind speed of between 3 m / s (11 km / h) and 54 m / s (193 km / h), doubling the usable speed range.

the comparison between load factor is not sufficient

the load factor of the plant decreases because it is stopped when we have too much electricity ... or for maintenance, but also planned at the best time

the wind turbine has a load factor reduced by the whims of the wind so it is much more unfavorable

but no matter if the wind turbine only produces 1 / 5 time, it is significantly cheaper than 1 / 5 from the nuclear power plant

remains to know the true price of large wind turbine and the real price of nuclear power plants

the price of the wind turbine will easily be a complete price without any additional cost ... the price of the nuclear power plant may forget the spawning of security provided by the state, the costs of disposal of waste, and do not talk about the dismantling at the end of life

we must also compare the lifespan: nothing will prevent to extend the life of the wind turbine by adapting new parts more modern

The wind is currently:

1) a non-solution to the problem of energy and warming (energy demand is constantly increasing),
2) a new tax for all,
3) energy whose price is purely virtual way (compared to market prices)
4) a real enrichment, for cons, developers of wind projects (most of which I met, have nothing to do with the environment).


Certainly !

but:
Nuclear power is therefore:

4) a real enrichment for the promoters of nuclear projects that will settle in cities far from the power plants they have left to our infinity-grandchildren ...
3) an energy whose price is fixed in a purely virtual way (compared to market prices), not to mention the costs of possible denial ...
2) a Ancient tax for all, including, especially on the countries producing the ore which fortunately did not all understand the unfairness of the market ... we do not care it's not here!

And we must add that nuclear power implies total perpetual infallibility, while men are not always infallible, and therefore the nuclear power sooner or later, with certainty inevitable, in France, will make a catastrophe type Chernobyl-Fukushima, evacuating a whole region for centuries, incultivable, uninhabitable, without hope of return, for example the Rhone Valley, emptied for centuries, the most nuclearized region in the world, and with a serious risk of earthquake!
Then the cost of nuclear will undergo a price increase of more than 1O00 billions of euros !!

No field of wind turbines presents such a risk in comparison, to empty for centuries an entire region!
