France, mobilization for the climate

Renewable energies except solar electric or thermal (seeforums dedicated below): wind turbines, energy from the sea, hydraulic and hydroelectricity, biomass, biogas, deep geothermal energy ...

by GuyGadebois » 20/09/19, 20:58

+ from 20000 to Freiburg (Germany, 227000 inhabitants)
1,4 Millions in Germany ...
Poor France.

Probably is it because cognitive dissonance is more widespread in Germany? Clearly, want to overcome the consequences via a papa-state intervention, without giving up the causes ... : roll:

If you mean by this that the French are idiots on ecological issues, I join you at 100%.

That's not what I said, but that the Germans are both ahead in terms of ecological sensitivity and a high level of consumption ...
From this I deduce that the first serves as an alibi for the second. France is logically one degree below in these two contradictory areas.

It is nevertheless clear that when it comes to "political parties", French environmentalists have been picking up for more than 30 years while among our German neighbors, consistency is essential.

at the same time, those who marched may be defeated ...

there are those who scream, and those who act.

those who act are in the minority and can not hide the consumer tsunami.

Go see Friborg, you will understand that there, it acts. I know this little town well, I go there often, my sister-in-law lives there.

you would say that you do not want to understand what Ahmed is writing. To take actions in the good sense of respect of the environment serves only to make oneself clear conscience if one does not voluntarily decrease his consumption of energy, of high-tech products.
Our neighbors have more environmental awareness but consume more than us so in the end ???
