Stator Ista breeze

by franco81 » 09/11/15, 20:17

Hi,
I recovered this wind turbine in 12V
I installed and tested
my site installation isolated in 24V.
I arrive with a strong wind at 23 - 24V without more.
so no charge.

I will want to rewind it to have more voltage
with less speed.

could you advise me on
wire diameter
the number of turns
the number of coils
and how to rewind.

Thank you for your wise advice.
good night.

Ben, should learn more about the wind turbine. In particular on the real regime of the aternateur.

Not sure that rewinding the alternator changes the situation if the rotor does not turn fast enough.

first of all, if by chance it was wired in a triangle, you can try to put it in star, you will gain tension easily.
then, I think that if the power is low, it would be much easier to use a DC-DC boost rather than rewind.
