Hello everybody.
I am wondering if it would not be interesting to use the direct combustion of dried microalgae to run a stirling engine. Like that, no need for a refinery, we burn directly and we get mechanical energy right away. In such a scheme, the most prolific and easiest to produce microalgae species suffices. What do you think ?
Combustion of microalgae (dried)
All the plants, free, are good, thrown everywhere, in the recycling centers, shredded, hedge trimmings and wood, which it suffices to pick up as around my home, with even my neighbors who smoke me by burning them in full air of the days !!
Just pick up, it's all grown!
Otherwise Breton algae are ideal, growing on their own in the sea. It is enough to collect and dry in the sun, but production of 100 times more dioxin by burning plants full of sea salt (Salt chlorine, ideal with live benzene for dioxin)
Each alga has its biotope, take those naturally invading in freshwater lakes, with fertilizers !!!

It remains only to focus on the stirling engine itself
Yes it is also a solution, why spend what you can have for free. On the other hand tell me if I am wrong, but I am astonished to see that there is no real manufacturer of stirling engine, in particular the double effect engines whose principle is brilliant. But maybe I looked wrong?

There was at least this double effect:

stirling engine
yes I had seen, but I'm talking about a single engine which would be adaptable to a car for example

Far from being exact, there are pebbles, large blocks of earth and rocks, variable if the earth is dry or too soft, even mired, starting requires more power and therefore clearly not more possible.
The power is linked to the heat flux which is not very variable to it, with the gas too hot or too cold otherwise.
The flow of heat is not quickly controlled with a valve like for fuel.

or is the accelerator of a stirling engine?
shit there is none ... to accelerate it is necessary to increase the power of heating and the stirling accelerates a certain time after
the diesel of a tractor has a very efficient regulator on its injection pump: if there is an obstacle to cross, as soon as the speed drops the regulator instantly increases the dose of diesel fuel injected and the tractor clears the obstacle without slowing down. .. impossible with stirling
even the steam engine is more practical in this case there: when it is necessary to increase the power instantly, it is enough to open the admission of the engine, and the boiler provides instantly the necessary flow, even if it decreases its temperature, and qu '' you should not ask too much of it without increasing the fire enough
striling is useful ... I am doing one but it is not the miracle solution ... good for making some fixed electricity ... too heavy for vehicle

if it's just to burn, no need for algae! there are enough plants that grow on their own to burn!
the interest of some algae is to easily make liquid fuel for vehicle engine
and again I tried all kinds of stuff to burn properly different green waste ... but I just got 20m3 of wood chips delivered to me: it's good crushed wood that burns so much better than various plant waste ...
