Pozzolanic Roman Concrete Slab

by passiviste » 17/04/09, 18:09

Hello !

First post, but not the last because we are interested in environmentally friendly techniques.

Before building our super house, we try to make sure we don't miss out on the moment.

We would like to make a small garden shed. We thought it was time to try the Roman concrete slab. We searched the internet but we didn't find much information. What we understood is that if we want it to be sustainable we have to make pozzolanic Roman concrete (ie with pozzolan).

On the other hand we are not sure of the recipe that we have found, and in addition we do not know what characteristics to ask to have the right product (it seems that there are good and bad pozzolanas).

Anyone know something?
Something like a precise recipe and where to get the materials.

Thank you for your answers.
