Habitat Naturel and the French woodworkers' union Afcobois - FFB have teamed up to produce this first guide "Maison bois - maison performance". The 230 builders who are members of the Afcobois-FFB union have committed themselves to respect a quality charter. They have been selected for their know-how and seriousness in the field of legal insurance. Their grouping allows them to pool the means to evolve towards ever more quality and innovation.
Under the impetus of the Grenelle Environnement, the performance requirements for new buildings transcribed in the 2012 thermal regulations will increase considerably. From an obligation of means, we will pass to an obligation of results. It's a real revolution for the building world.
Wood construction already has all the assets to meet the expectations of 2013: renewable and healthy material, carbon sinks, efficient thermal insulation ... You will find in this guide a selection of field reports of exemplary houses that can inspire your own projects .
