Bonjour à tous

Superb video!
A few years ago, a tool was found on the market for "optimizing" the ignition of petrol engines. It was a candle with a glass part in its body and you could see the light from the explosions. We saw especially the misfires of ignition and according to the color that we could observe we could assess the "quality" of combustion.

The observation was done in the garage stalled and unloaded on the road. Not sure that is representative of the operation. : Mrgreen:

Indeed it is almost the same and the same brand "Colortune".

If only it existed for diesel on the market, a fake glow plug with optical fibers to bring the light produced by the combustion into the passenger compartment .... we could "see" what the water doping does. .... :frown:

I fantasize a little, given the diameter of the glow plugs and the thermal and mechanical stresses it must be rather difficult to achieve. : Mrgreen:

There are constraints but it must be feasible.
moreover I think about it: no one tried to retrieve the info obd2 on a car equipped with doping? it gives already a lot of info ...

It is a standard protocol of communication in the electronic boxes of a car and the outside world. This is a card that is found on all recent vehicles (2000 wholesale). It is usually placed next to the fuse in the passenger compartment or under a seat.

There is an article on this subject in the June elektor. I do a scan as soon as I have time.

One day I would have to make an interface.


There is also powerdyn that works pretty well.
