Water doping press conference in Vitry-sur-Orne

by Christophe » 31/05/07, 20:39

I spent the day at a press conference on water doping in Vitry-sur-Orne.

Context: the president of a local association ("La pierre angulaire" based in Nancy: http://lapierreangulaire.free.fr/ ) Alexandre G. has just modified, under the mayor's decision in person (general councilor also) a C15 of the municipality with a water doping system with steam generator (according to Michel's advice here: http://reaction.directe1.free.fr/ ).

I was invited to participate in the press conference to discuss the more scientific aspect: that is to say the various operating hypotheses that we could establish together. So I evoked the 2 theories that for me are the most probable since some experiments confirmed them in part:

1)ionization of water vapor
2) the cavitation of wet steam in the reactor (which would lead to a supersonic velocity and shock compression / expansion of gases and possibly a phenomenon of sonoluminescence).

We will see what the journalists have selected and will write :)

Here is the list of journalists present:

Republican Lorrain http://www.republicain-lorrain.fr/
The week http://blog.lasemaine.fr/net/lasemaine.fr/nsf/bg.nsf
The friend Hebdo http://www.ami-hebdo.com/
Lor'fm http://www.lorfm.com/
France Bleu Lorraine Nord http://www.radiofrance.fr/chaines/franc ... raine-nord
Jerico Radio http://www.eveche-metz.fr/radiojerico/
France 3 Metz http://lorraine-champagne-ardenne.france3.fr/

+ 2 or 3 other journalists who took photos ...

TV and radio journalists weren't too interested in "how it works" but rather "How much does it cost and how much does it earn" ...:| They did not interview me, however, they interviewed Alexandre who evoked econologie.com in at least one of his interviews. The mayor was also interviewed. The report of FR3 should be pretty good :)

We also did some photos next to the proto (one of the most beautiful editing that I saw, I think we will soon be able to present it on econo) ....

Well here I am, I will give you the "press results" as soon as I have them available.

Congratulations again to the Mayor for his decision and Alexander for his editing! It is a spark that could well lead to a blast (to stay in the driving language)! Vitry-sur-Orne has just taken a big step for the system of doping with water and it could become in pantone what Villeneuve is in oil :). It just goes to show that sometimes a "little" political will is enough to get things done!

ps: at the result level, the 15 C1993 consumes 36% less (8,25 to 5,28 L / 100km in semi-urban travel) and has reduced its smoke by 83%. To see the press release

Published on 24/08/09: here is the "complete" press review following this assembly
https://www.econologie.com/montage-gilli ... -3661.html
and TF1 spoke about it in "reports" in August 2009: tf1-stories-c-is-good-for-the-planet-a-Vitry-t8203.html

Edit: press review

On the other hand I do not know if it is in the Champagne-Ardenne edition or "that" Metz

Hi christophe it's alexandre

thank you again for your presence yesterday. I must admit that journalists were very little interested in the technique.
However an article is spent this morning on the Lorraine Republican region and am happy because they did not write bullshit and made a good article. Normally we had to go into one but a double infanticide took place after the conference.
I scan press reviews and I'll put them to you

Otherwise the report of FR3 is spent this afternoon on F3 lorraine and should return tonight quite short clearance figure but not on the gain of conso. All in all it's good but enough shorthanded explanations.

This morning a report on blue france lorraine I will digitize it and make it available too. Very good report no bullshit and essential info.

Otherwise the most interresting will be the record of the week because he was very interested and has time to write his article (it is the young person who stayed with us at the end).

Voila for the last news, I send you others that I have new

Thank you again

see you soon

Yeah :)

Thank you for these clarifications Touf (nice pseudo will have to explain where it comes from :) )

We will try to recover the stream of FR3 ... bizare Christine looked at Champagne Ardenne this afternoon but saw nothing (finally she missed the beginning I think). It's really too bad that they did not talk about the conso, it was the only point that seemed to interest them and the mayor talked about it during his interview ... Did you say ... censorship? : Shock:

So I'm waiting for the scans by email (or put them directly on the forum via the link "Add an image or a file on the forum"at the bottom of the edit window) and too bad for the one" missed "but the double infanticide was still more" important "... so they have an excuse;)

Otherwise, given the number of photographers, I think there were other newspapers that came, do you know which journals they were?

Uh..my not understand the question, the generalities are shown on the 1er post of this topic no? If you do not want to talk about measurement protocols? If Alex (and the town hall) are ok, we will try to post a presentation of the editing and results but the press review that will arrive will probably give some details ... :)

Very good report on France 3,
hoping that it gives : Idea: to the other mayor

And a big hat trick to the Mayor,
If he is a candidate for the municipal elections in Marseille
I vote for him. : Mrgreen:
