mini bench of consumption control

by Alex 56 » 27/04/06, 14:29

Hi everybody

It's been 3 month that I'm on the forum christophe and I decided to bring my ideas and my meager achievements too here is some sketch that I call control bench, it is quite basic but rather preci when the consumption of gasoil and also water in a given time .

In any case it allows to monitor the consumption by the minute (almost in real time) and stationary position ... a tractor and a certain way a motor vehicle. In addition to controlling the levels manually, on the tab or other but accurate to half a millimeter close, it is also necessary to monitor the temperature of the exhaust gases.

I have noticed that whenever the temperature of the water of the bubbler drops in temperature it corresponds to the hooking of the reactor and in the minute following the consumption of go.
was also falling on the tutau Rylsan!

Obviously the bubbler is heated by the exhaust pipe / what may want to prove? ...
that energy (heat) is taken from the reactor in operation. this phenomenon is reproducible.

Some examples of consomation control of hot engine go (35 min for the tractor zetor has 1000 revolutions / min)
Zetor 4712 (2600cm3 cyl)

At empty it gives:

t / min height G. O x surf.base x time = cm3 = L
in 1 min
1000 14.5 mm 10.9 cm2 60 min = 948.3 = 0.948

With 2 50 Gyro has the PTO, stationary position which equates to a half load:

1650 rpm 37.5 mn 10.9cm2 60 min = 2452 cm3 = 2.45L

BX diesel (1.9l) turbo (in prepa) in stationary

1000t / min 12 mn 10.9 cm2 60min = 784cm3 = 0.784 L
1500 18 mn 10.9cm2 60 min = 1177cm3 = 1.177 liter

2500 31 mn 10.9cm2 60min = 2027cm3 = 2.02 liter

That's what I had to say to you today

Hello Alex
Thank you for the drawings, I thought about it but I found it was easier to install a flow meter (see Mercedes 300TD experiment), the most difficult is to build the small intermediate degassing tank for the return of the pump.
Good luck for the future and give us your results.
