BMW Turbo petrol Megatron: 1450ch and a water injection
A (re) discover: this monstrous engine of 80 years.

Yes, with a specific power of 1000 hp / L (!!) the engine of that time were strong ... Obviously it was turning very strong but not long (400-500 km? 1 race what ...)
A motor marketed by the industry that makes more 100 hp / L that is already rare ... which gives an idea of comparison.

Bin Remundo? You have to follow some It's true that you're already hyper active on many other subjects!
Here is an excerpt of the letter I am about to send:
On hyper performance engines it also allows a cooling of internal parts.
This is certainly the case on this megatron engine, as was the case on the Messerschmitt and Sppitfire (and other models) including the injection of water allowed a power boost to make evasive maneuvers emergency in some cases (but limited period of time, I believe ... 30 s aviation safety) ...
Here is a diagram water injector at the time: https://www.econologie.com/forums/brevet-ren ... tml#201375 (About a little trolled but still interesting if we neglect the polemicist)
It is present in some good flight simulators including IL2.

Introduction, what the water injection?
The water injection is well known mechanics of 80 years: she was employed on 1 formulas that could develop over 1000cv with turbo petrol engines 1.5L. Example with this video on the BMW engine Megatron
The injection of water allows for different physicochemical effects (not exhaustive):
improve combustion (pollution and unburnt on CO)
increasing the compression ratio, improved the mean effective pressure (SMEs)
homogenize the combustion (pressure on the piston more homogeneous)
reduce NOx pollution
improved engine flexibility
improve consumption
increase power (turbo engines)
On hyper performance engines it also allows a cooling of internal parts.

Oops yes! Mea Culpa ... it's not true! Shame on the rider that I am! Sorry in my head, saw the subject, I was on car engines, truck or other ...
Nevertheless (because I like to be wrong even when I'm wrong): How many motorcycle engine are manufactured worldwide to over 100 hp / L compared Car engine (the vast majority n '100 not reached hp / L)? 1 or 2%?
In absolute terms I therefore think that it remains quite "rare"

Ah ah ah! I suspected you were going to bounce on small cars
4.8 cv 4tps 50cc? Not bad but yes you're right: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Super_Cub
So even when deviated from the competition ... but eventually sold!
Hey say that I'm pissed with 103 and 51 2 3.5 was time consuming and CVs thoroughly once hacked a little while this exist?!?!?
Therefore good engine but it was ugly chassis level, you rode with that ???
As long as one is in small engines, what is the specific power for model aircraft engines a few cc? Without doubt very high.
4.8 cv 4tps 50cc? Not bad but yes you're right: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Super_Cub
The technology Developed in the Isle of Man TT racing program Was Equally vital to the new lightweight motorcycle, making possible to 3.4 kilowatts (4.5 hp) from a 50 cc four-stroke Honda engine, where the first engine the company built a decade earlier, a "fairly exact copy" of the 50 cc two stroke war-surplus Tohatsu engine Honda had been selling as motorized bicycle auxiliary engine, had only a 0.37–0.75 kilowatts (0.5–1 hp) output. [11] [12] Honda's first four stroke, the 1951 E-type, had just a little more power than the Super Cub, 3.7 kilowatts (5 bhp), with nearly triple the displacement, 146 cc (8.9 cu in). [12]
So even when deviated from the competition ... but eventually sold!
In 1966 the C50 Appeared and Remained in output through the mid 80s, Becoming One of The Most Widespread and familiar versions of the Super Cub [13]. 48-49, 188-189 Honda REPLACED the C100's 40 mm × 39 mm (1.6 in × 1.5 in) 50 cc OHV engine with the 39 mm × 41.4 mm (1.54 in × 1.63 in) OHC alloy head and iron cylinder engine from the CS50 and C65, qui Increased power from 3.4 to 3.6 kW (4.5 to 4.8 bhp)

Yes to short stays in Ireland (but 70 release or memory of 90cc) I had never seen in France ... Maybe because of the fact that she had a gearbox and therefore allowed to roll ( it had to be more dear in France compared to a 103 or blue ...)
