From my recollection Denis Lee was a former partner of P. Pantone ... He applied for a "pantone clone" patent in August 2007.
It includes a lot of explanations (catalytic materials, ionization, cracking ...), and according to what we see on the 1er diagram, it would not use bubbler (or water?) But a system injection, see a ...steam generator (fuel) ?

This little "clone patent war" (the clone wars? ) is interesting, it helps to advance understanding! Hypnow has also deposited one that will be the subject of another topic as soon as I find time to look at it.
As soon as I have a moment I read it in details and make a summary but for all lovers of pantone, you can already start on your side
