Biomass Cogeneration Symposium in the Strasbourg Industry

In France, biomass cogeneration is poorly developed, except in the paper industry. Its topicality results from the objective assigned to France, by the European Union, to reach 21% of the consumption of electricity produced from renewable energy sources in 2010.


AATEE - Technical Association for Energy Environment - and CIBE - Interprofessional Committee for Wood Energy - organize a conference

Biomass cogeneration in industry and on heating networks on September 18 & 19, 2007 in Strasbourg

This conference will allow a broad exchange of views between all the actors concerned - industries, district heating networks, energy companies, fuel suppliers and institutional partners - on all the questions relating to the combined production of heat and electricity from biomass, in view of the expected development of this promising sector.



The presentations and round tables will present a wide panorama of the opportunities of biomass cogeneration as well as feedback from Europe and future prospects.

The ATEE, Association Technique Energie Environnement, brings together all the actors concerned in their professional activity by energy and environmental issues: small and large companies, service companies, public bodies, local authorities, universities ...
