Bivouac in winter rainy and cold, light and cheap

Hiking-bivouacking in autumn / winter rainy and cold, light and inexpensively

Insulated Sursac

- composed of 3m² of insulation 6 layers
- weight 600 / 750g
- price +/- 11 €
- usable with a light sleeping bag of 5 ° or 8 °
(or directly as a warm survival blanket)
- little or no condensation
- for 0 ° or - 5 °
- if humidity, turn the bag over and repeat the operation = drying effect in 45mn

Beware of the risk of overheating!

What solves my problems of unsafe breathable sursac - and even less durable,
ineffective and cumbersome tent,
saves me the purchase of a sleeping bag for occasional -5 °
and it's going very well with my hammock all terrain : Mrgreen:

Have you tried it?
Is it strong enough?
Is there no condensation?

Hi raymon
At the price of use at 2 € / year,

a tent should have a life of 25 or 50 years;

for a weight well above 600 / 750g and with condensation - in the tent. : Mrgreen:

This being the luxury version!

A survival blanket
resists traction of 100kg,
provided you do not stab the sheet,

another remediable fault.
100% of mine were destroyed by a simple priming of edge tears,

therefore: reinforce the edges with the adhesive when it is "new".

other current version utlisable.

My sheet of 50g (1 € for purchase) has been converted into a supersac with adhesive and glue,
plus a reinforcement on the entry edge of the bag to the adhesive

Survival element

In case of condensation or wet clothes,

simply return the cover / survival bag and repeat the operation to obtain a drying,

even at 100% hygrometry.

Hiking-bivouacking in autumn / winter rainy and cold, light and inexpensively

counter-example :
Non-isothermal Sursac
consisting of a cover / survival bag of 200g

test
high hygrometry time,
wake up temperature 0 °, white jelly
5 ° sleeping bag,
exposure to the winds

I woke up warm feet,
despite being bathed in a good 1 / 2 liter of water.

Which is impossible to obtain with
a simple sleeping bag 5 ° and even less so wet

so efficiency !!

simply return the bag periodically to avoid moisture and have a drying effect
