An aurora in our latitudes tomorrow !?

Crazy...

There is a possibility that an aurora borealis will be visible from Saturday evening in Belgium, following a powerful solar flare, according to the Urania observatory. Sun and pleasant temperatures (up to 20 ° C) should be there this weekend.

The eruption took place Thursday at 9:16 a.m. The coronal mass ejection that followed should reach Earth between 9 a.m. and 22 p.m. on Saturday.

If the sky is clear, the aurora borealis could be visible from a place with a clear view towards the north, Saturday evening and in the night from Saturday to Sunday, according to Urania.

The forecasts in terms of visibility are not bad since if we believe the meteorologists, this weekend should start with clearings even if clouds would appear during the course of the day on Saturday. Temperatures will be around 14 degrees. Sunday morning will be gray, but the sun will be there afterwards and will cause the mercury to rise to 20 degrees. It will also be sunny and warm on Monday with almost 20 degrees again but showers are not to be excluded afterwards. Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will remain generally dry with approximately 17 °.

Watch the north!
