(Black) humor Marcel Google is here!

by JLB29P » 04/01/12, 23:26

What is the name of Google?

Marcèle

Why ? because Google is hugging me!

Explanation: I am looking for a drill.
During 1 months, Google harassed me ads on this damn drill that I bought a long time and no longer interested.

Now imagine for a moment that I have pedophile tendencies, and that I have researched the subject to calm myself down.
Google will harass me with photos that could tip me!
And who will be condemned? me ? Google?
NO, the victim! and for life

It's not harassing it's targeted advertising ... would you prefer to see casino ads or pampers?

I prefer to see targeted advertising than advertising that I do not square. By cons I have never seen a delay so long (1 2 days at most in my case ...)

Otherwise compared to Google, stop typing on it because it brings a lot to the web ....

In this regard, yesterday I made the following tweet:

Christophe on Twitter wrote:If Google did not exist the quality of the web would be worse, if Facebook did not exist, it would be better ...

Hmmm. Thank God, I have never received a mail order catalog of Thai 12 years in my mailbox! : Shock:
Me too the pub, it annoys me. But at this point, the posters in the city irritate me, the TV spots / radios get on my nerves, the newspapers and other magazines get on my nerves, the spams annoy me, ...

I also find this ad targeted stupid, what's the point of repeating an ad we've already seen?

at home it is especially with conrad that I see it ... google often puts me ads on the last article that I consulted on the site conrad ... couplable is rather conrad than google: google will not guess what i saw on conrad is rather conrad who pays google to revive the customer

finally not so stupid that it ... sometimes I find something on a site and do not note it ... and some time after I find it hard to find it, and as if by chance google puts me in pub

of course I imagine the disaster if a questionable site paid Google to send dubious advertising

and even worse would be able to use google to target dubious advertising just to hurt him?

I hope that Google is smart enough not to be deceived and stay in the field of morally decent advertising.

If the system works well you will not always have the same advertiser .... if you see conrad is that they put the package on their advertising budget ...

No he's not going to guess but where did you go to "enter" on conrad? :) It is enough that you do a search on a keyword so that google then targets your ads for a while ... I find it really not bad, provided there is a sufficient number of advertiser (if it is to buckle on actually conrad ...)

Conrad will, conversely, give keywords to target: they are surely part of your research ...

Google then targets the content of the page: this is the principle of the contextual pub ....

Ben you see that it works well! qED :D

Pretty clever very surely: they have not become number one for nothing ...

I believe that for a few months they have been accepting "hot" content ... on the other hand I believe that they still refuse gambling (games of chance ...) to verify ...

Is this the pub? Where do we do it?

Advertising as such, as a means of information when it is well done, does not bother me more than that.

I tend to believe that if it did not exist, we would only have "national media", Reflecting only the exclusive" voice of his master "... And who could be called" The Truth "instead of" Libé ... ". But! Is it all the better to leave this to "private initiative", with virtually no regulation, as is currently the case!

Thus hell is paved with good intentions, when the announcers insidiously dictate the editorial line of mass media! That's why it would take both and let us choose ... I know there are ongoing attempts to make part of the woueb pay. In fact, we would like to pay the billions of free woueb pages available by a tax, which would be a form of "private tax", since the sites would not be remunerated ...

So there, there would be many more things to say, but deep down the danger is not advertising, but:
- mass manipulation;
- and inevitably because of this: monopoly situations ...!
- and its drifts with the "nosy" side of the woueb (and not just google).

That's what bothers me, notice that it has the palm, since it will even identify keywords that you write in your own e-mails.

There we violate the private sphere on a large scale (like google map). That's more than computer larceny!

Because for the rest, there is the add-on raised by "Rabbit", to which it is necessary to draw a hat-blow without making it disappear ... : Mrgreen:

But the add-on will not prevent the woueb from poking ... So everyone to take the precautions he considers useful. Because once you are "tagged" once on the woueb, it's almost for life. (Your personal info is looted and resold without your consent.)

+ 1 overall except:

The term is not appropriate, otherwise it would be useless. We should rather say: deforsinformation. : Mrgreen:
