The clean individual transport of the future, imagined in an engineering school in Nancy, has taken a new step forward. The project was selected as part of the call for mobility innovations from the Ministry of Ecological Transition to be presented at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. But before that, Urbanloop will attempt the world record for the lowest energy consumption for an autonomous vehicle on rails.
The world record for "the least expensive kilometer in energy for autonomous rail transport" was broken by Urbanloop this Friday morning in Tomblaine, near Nancy. Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Ecological Transition, in charge of Transport was present.
