I actually had to scrape the dirt off the saddle, but I had nothing under my pants (motorcycle pants: it's strong, flexible and there are good hip and knee protections).
On the other hand, I don't know if I could get the shoes back.

For the risk of disaster, no risk as we serve the buttocks : Mrgreen:
It's sheathing

This morning I went to drop off the son in Grignan at 09am. So I pushed on to Vaison-la-Romaine and parked the car in Malaucène at 09:45 a.m. Take out the bike and head for the Col du Ventoux. No luck: pass closed at the top but not up to the Mont Serein pass.
I had to be in Avignon city center before noon. I was there at 11:48.
I was planning to climb in 2 (around 450w) out of 5 but physics did not agree to climb reasonably quietly without pedaling hard.
So I assembled everything in one go in 3 in the 750w range but the consumption does not become reasonable to go all the way up there.
At the pass, the cigarette break. There is a false 50% battery remaining on the display.
Above the large car park, the Liotard chalet and the barrier.
I go there but the bike will die in two less than a kilometer away in front of the terminal.

Frozen descent. All in the shadows and the ground very wet. But what a descent : Mrgreen:
Around 1h15 round trip.

the minimum wage is €400 in Poland or Romania and €1750 in France and there have been no borders for 30 years....!!!
The rest is literature for spoiled children (or sons of civil servants who would explain to us how to create businesses)
And the cost of a deputy or a fon k in Poland or Romania is in the same proportion as a worker.
Amen

And I messed up.
Did not inflate the tires.
3 padlocks and the inflator.
I had a backpack with 2 full water bottles and an apple.
I drank at 13 p.m. on the way back and the apple at 13:30 p.m.

Good news. The retrofit is progressing and even for vehicles for the disabled

https://www.largus.fr/actualite-automob ... 30534.html
Vehicles affected and conversions authorized
The recently published ministerial decrees are part of a national action plan in favor of retrofit aimed at broadening its implementation, both with regard to eligible vehicles and possible conversions. Special vehicles such as tow trucks, campers, transport vehicles accessible to people with reduced mobility (TPMR) and mobile cranes are now eligible for this type of transformation. Now most vehicle categories can be retrofitted:

Two-wheelers, three-wheelers or quadricycles (L);
Cars with a maximum of 8 seats (M1);
Light utility vehicles (N1);
Buses and coaches (M2/M3);
Utility vehicles and heavy goods vehicles (N2/N3).

But what a revolution.
At the end of 1900 we were driving at 100km/h on electric vehicles and 4 wheels.
And 120 years later you are limited to 90km/h in Ardèche. We escape the 80

Google is a real drag : Mrgreen:
If by bike it is counted as a car journey.
Very often he already thinks I took the motorbike.
Hello statistics...

It's Saint Murphy's Day today, not Thanksgiving : Mrgreen:
This morning I had to take a solar flare EMP.
The 52V battery of the Ventoux bike charges but no longer discharges.
The 36V battery of the downhill mountain bike is discharging but no longer charging.
The new 36V battery to replace the 52 forced me to return before a kilometer, that left me with 25% battery. Probably the controller which remains stuck at 52V.
Result: return on a mountain bike without battery with 60/80 km/h of full face mistral in false flat rising: it calms down.

I'm tackling a new carbon mountain bike with a 1000W rear motor from which I received the new Shimano Boost wheel for €40. It's tubeless-ready with tubeless valve (Schrader) it's the opportunity to try this new system. An almost new tire for €8 but with 2 acacia tips in it.
Impossible to install the bits for tubeless cars or motorcycles, it's way too small. So 2 patches inside.
Absolutely impossible to inflate without the full compressor to slam the tire the first time.
24 hours later it's still gone, I throw the wheel in the pool and it leaks the mini bubble everywhere between the rim and the rim of the tire. Head to Decathlon for the special tubeless/tubeless-ready latex bottle, €30.
I'll get back to it tomorrow, multimeter in my pocket

Operation Grandma-sitting for the week.
I went down with my trusty Wilson (like the ball in Alone in the World).
Its battery with charging problem is half solved without disassembly because I can charge through the output on the XT60 connector.
But having tinkered with a temporary charger for XT60 I don't have much confidence.
So it's a 36V 6,6Ah scooter battery with high output amperage.
Rear strobe and 2A charger integrated under the saddle.
USB lithium front light.
The display is broken but I have access to the voltage so I estimate the rest to go up to 32V starting from 42V.
But the fork I put on is really not great. Impossible to put the origin, I don't have the SRAM nipples for the V-break with skates.
I have some at the back of the bike which are useless but they are not the same diameter of screws: Murphy's law obliges

Thanks to the significant development in the use of electric bicycles and mopeds throughout the world, global demand for oil has reduced by 1%, or one million barrels per day. This is what emerges from a study by the ECU Institute, which, in addition, demonstrates that this reduction is four times greater than that generated by electric cars
