Lots of Speed-bikes are 2x750W. It's simple to build, you only need 2 hall sensors in the trigger instead of just one to power 2 controllers or split the signal. But it is rather the electronics which manage whether we want 1 or 2 motors on demand

At first I wanted to make a bike with 3 motors.
I have a Kalkhoff frame with a 250W crank motor. A 500W front motor and a 500 or 1500W rear.
Ultimately it's very very heavy and the controller almost insulted me for powering 2 three-phase motors simultaneously

It exists in fat bike but it weighs a dead donkey, around 40kgs.
In mountain biking it's coming soon
An astonishing Yamaha two-wheel drive bike

But it's twice 2W for the weight of my 250W so...

My wife bought a new electric bike, in store, for around €350 (50% off), following a closure.

Autonomy? I don’t know, since June, she’s only driven 2-3 km!

It's a gift at this price, it's not even the price of the replacement battery.
But it's expensive to store in the garage if it's to furnish...
Yet to try it is to adopt it.

The problem is not even, in 2012-2013, I had an ion, which I still have, and in 2015, for my wife, I took one too.

And a Peugeot electric bike was offered with it.

He drove a little, probably less than 500 km, over 7 years.

But she has it in her head that we could go for walks as a couple in an EV....

Classic bike, with a fracture of the kneecap in 6, it's very complicated for me, I admit that in electric it's possible.

But, it's not really my fill of tea either, with the back problems, but it's improving...

My wife works 12-13 km away, doable by bike, not every day, no cycle path on the route, therefore a little dangerous, and 1 hour by bike, instead of 15 minutes...

I understand the situation well.
Between my knees and ears, I have Robocop's x-rays.
Revision of custom-made hip prosthesis in broken 3D titanium (9 surgical steel screws torn out), broken internal rock and a punctured eye... Not to mention the related injuries: broken ribs, clavicle...
I would never have been able to build muscle. I have a carbon race but it hurts the ass and the effort is constantly in the tonic. And then it is too small Size S/M

So it’s crazy. But it's not made to use it like a 250 Cross.
Front tire not inflated enough, I punctured far away (4 holes in the front inner tube).
I still insisted until I got stuck in a 20cm rut of clay.
I had to do some toothbrush archeology to get the inner tube out. Mud up behind the ears. Only happiness : Mrgreen:
I found a Suntour fork, I'll put it on later.
For the carbon frame, the front wheel with bolted thru axle is being delivered.
And this afternoon I was offered a Bafang crank motor
