Photovoltaic mobile office project

by Bushka » 17/01/10, 15:27

Hello,

Here is the project, for a need of 65 Ah / day (counted wide): laptop 8h per day.
I submit it to your appreciation (question power and choice of equipment).

1) a high-end 240 to 350 Wp solar collector in 12V:
Sanyo HIT-240HDE4 (hybrid: monocrystalline and amorphous, yield 16,6%), visible here:
http://www.sanyo-solar.eu/uploads/media ... FR__01.pdf

or the SunPower SPR-315EWHT-D (monocrystalline, efficiency 19,3%), visible here:
http://www.sunpowercorp.fr/Products-and ... om_fr.ashx

Note: I intend to mount this sensor on the motorhome gallery so that I can tilt and orient it manually (to correct the angle 2 to 5 times a day).

2) an MPPT regulator improving the performance in particular in the case of a long shadow:
>> either the Steca Solarix MPPT 2010, visible here:
http://www.stecasolar.com/index.php?mai ... 949b5041|3
>> either the Morningstar Tristar TS-MPPT-45 12V, visible here:
http://www.morningstarcorp.com/fr/tristar%20mppt
>> or another MPPT, like the MPPT MX60 OutBack (otherwise choose here: http://www.solairedesign.com/Catalogue/ ... soMPPT.htm)

3) a high-end 120 Ah (or 150?) Gel battery,
slow discharge and able to withstand deep and long discharges without difficulty:
I found the Victron VRLA 120 Ah deep cycle battery, visible here: http://www.victronenergy.fr/upload/docu ... -%20FR.pdf
but there are probably better.

4) a Victron BMV 602 battery voltage controller, visible here:
http://www.victronenergy.fr/battery-mon ... 20bmv-602/

5) finally, so that the service battery charges while I am driving,
I will install the Cyrix-i 12/100 coupler-separator, visible here:
http://www.victronenergy.com/upload/doc ... -%20EN.pdf

6) and other elements possibly missing from this list for a
complete installation: power supply and cables, for example.

7) I already have a 12V> 220V Victron Phoenix 350W converter.

The ideal would be to be able to add a wind turbine later, if necessary.

This is what my study gave.
Beyond that, I cannot decide.
I miss the skill.

Thank you for your advice.
Sincerely,
Bushka
