If the black lines represent the roof seen from above, we did what is framed in red.
And I framed in yellow which would be easy and quick to do because the frame is still good, no cuts, and we can do it almost without going out on the roof (just for the last panel).
I don't think it represents more work than the red part, except for mounting the plates. that, at the very least, you should put a bracket with a pulley. 120 plates by the staircase, it would be the death of ants and also of the staircase
