good then? So what is the distribution cost if I have a solar power plant 500 m from a village that produces electricity at 7 cents according to the needs of the inhabitants of the village?

The power of the French photovoltaic park reached 10,9 GW at the end of December 2020
The newly connected capacity is 973 MW, against 962 MW in 2019. In 2020, production from solar photovoltaic sources amounted to 12,9 TWh, against 11,6 TWh in 2019. Solar production represents 2,9 % of French electricity consumption, up 0,4 points.

BayWa re commissioning its Blueberry solar park
The German developer has commissioned its photovoltaic park with a total capacity of 30 MWp, in the municipalities of Diors, Déols and Etrechet near Châteauroux.
A second park, awaiting administrative authorizations, could see the light of day at the end of 2022.

The German developer BayWa re announced on February 24 the commissioning of the Blueberry photovoltaic park, with a total capacity of 30 MWp, in the municipalities of Diors, Déols and Etrechet near Châteauroux. The 87 photovoltaic panels thus add value to 552 ha of the former Martinerie military base, whose activity ceased in 35.

Engie Green launches crowdfunding of € 1,1 million for the 20,3 MWp Marcoussis wind farm
Engie Green has just announced the launch of crowdfunding for the 20,3 MWp solar farm in Marcoussis, in Essonne. Two collections are planned from March 1, 2021 on the Enerfip platform, for a total amount of € 1,1 million.

FEBRUARY 18, 2021 JOËL SPAES

The 23 ha solar park was developed by Engie Green and Sigeif (Intercommunal Syndicate for Gas and Electricity in Île-de-France) at the initiative of the municipality of Marcoussis on a former 46 ha site belonging to it. . With an installed capacity of 20,3 MWp for an annual production equivalent to the consumption of more than 10 people, it will be the largest ground-based photovoltaic plant in the Île-de-France region, say its promoters. The work started in summer 000, should be completed in September 2020.

Bordeaux residents receive the first electrons from the Labarde plant (JPee)
The independent French renewable energy producer JP Energie Environnement (JPee) has just announced that units 1 and 2 of the Labarde solar power plant (55% of the entire installation), in Bordeaux, have injected their first electrons on the Enedis network.

MARCH 2, 2021 JOËL SPAES

In February, JPee carried out technical tests to ensure the proper functioning of the photovoltaic plant, installed in an urban area on a former landfill, and its management with the operating teams. Since Monday March 1, the 33 MWp represented by units 1 and 2 (with the third unit, it will be increased to 59 MWp) have been put into commercial service. The plant will cover more than 60 hectares. It will produce 75 GWh / year, the equivalent of the electricity consumption of 70 inhabitants (excluding heating), or 000% of the Bordeaux population, and will prevent the release of nearly 28 tonnes of CO 3 per year, indicate its designers.

aerial view of the first section of the Labarde power plant

6 min video on the site of this power plant on the former landfill of the town of Bordeaux:

the structures are not anchored in the "ground" but on large concrete discs placed. I imagine that the 'soil' of the landfill requires this technique.

Nice project, on a surface of an old landfill anyway that cannot be built for at least 30 years or more, and even less cultivable for food production.
It’s much better than hitting farmland anyway.
The alternative could have been to reforest.

Or create a dike ... because the pretty complex is right in the "major risk" zone. Well done.
