It was only a post scriptum, even with an "s" the message is intelligible... But unlike the mistakes we all make here and there, this one is almost systematic, so try to correct it.

Not very logical, the kilo takes an "s" in the plural...

Basically, you are of course right, I know my Greek ( ), but it's a convention passed into common usage: when you ask for a kilo of potatoes, your market gardener doesn't ask questions, it's without ambiguity...
