Hello,

I am looking for a wholesale supplier of small photovoltaic cells.

Thanks, it's pretty urgent.

In France, you can try Photowatt, they market cells of 4 inches (101.25 mm X 101.25 mm), 5 inches (125.50 mm X 125.50 mm) and 6 inches (150 mm X 150 mm).
There are also solems that sell amorphous silicon cells I think ...

We look forward to seeing you!
but I'm looking for smaller cells delivering 6V for 100mAh.
The French only sell cells for the purpose of making panels.
Personally I make objects ...

Finally if anyone knows, a manufacturer, a distributor, I am open to any suggestions!

Hi Kauffmann,

I fear that you will arrive a little late with regard to my current project but it is certain that that interests me.

What do you intend to distribute?
What price for what quantity?
Mono, poly, amorphous?
Given that we manage to make almost tailor-made, what sizes do you want to import?

Personally I am confronted with 5 suppliers whose prices stand.
The products are similar but not identical.
But the transport costs and times lead me completely.
Example I had to test 2 cells from a manufacturer, (value 3 euros), transport price: 120 euros for 8 days at home.

So a distributor interests me considering that I will be ordering a large quantity, but will it be able to be competitive while making a living?

Until you create your project, do you have addresses for interesting products?

Yes, but I haven't paid the bill.
The Chinese had had the indecency to send me these samples without informing me of the transport prices.
UPS didn't realize it had to ask me to pay until the next day. I refused and kept the samples.
The Chinese informed me that the cost of transport should have been only 56 euros.
No matter what becomes their problem.
The fact remains that the costs are exorbitant but that unfortunately only the Chinese offer these products.
I contacted European industrialists in the sector who are completely uninterested in it ...

New disappointment!

Transfer made for the supply of samples (10).
Payment of 56 USD, bank fees 35 USD, zero result.
The proforma invoice is phony header, the recipient and the account numbers are for an individual.
It's called a donation!
You amaze me 10% annual GDP growth and 50% more in scam ...

Any idea on a possible remedy?

I think you have it in the baba, because if I remember correctly, the product you buy in a foreign country depends on the law of this country and not that of the receiving country ...

If you buy your product in Europe at worst, it will already be much better, because we depend on the same European laws, at least in theory. The best would be if you bought your product in France!

You can try to see with UFC what to choose for a recourse! But in your place, I will stay on my loss of 100 € ... because in legal combat, it will cost you a lot more and for not much more!
