I wonder if I don't have one in my wild corner at the bottom of the garden !!
We can make an excellent pesto!

By the way I planted a few onions that were germinating in my kitchen: onion tops are great to eat !! I am surprised that they are cooked no more, it is thinner than the leek (it looks more like it actually) .... I crunched one ... raw!

Christophe, you say:
I'm amazed that we don't cook them anymore ...

maybe because it only interests onion fans? : Wink:

Infusion replacing aspirin / lol
The recent cut stems crushed and resting in water, 15 days serves as growth hormone for planting or cuttings (?)

At home, I prune, I grind and brf on the flowerbeds (the best is November). otherwise with the dried straight stems it helps for horizontal support of tomatoes.

In time, I had interwoven stems in wreaths which the following winter I used to garnish falling fir or holly, in order to make a welcome wreath on the balcony of a house for Christmas :)

For branches => barbecue, or fireplace start

Hello everybody
Containment or not in the garden what grows best is what I did not plant : Cheesy: with each season its bloom of edible plants which pleasantly decorate my dishes.

In addition to plantains that I find a little too bitter, dandelions I love salad with crumbled hard-boiled eggs, nettles mashed soup
there is also the season of thyme, that of the Mash wild, chive, watercress delicious as a salad dressing, chenopod with fresh taste, sorrel wild (well I guess because I didn't plant it). there is also mint, the oxalys to tart, rocket for spice ...

I have lots of daisies I hadn't thought of eating them, I'll try : Wink:

I really like to decorate my meals with these plants, they are tasty and full of good nutrients but I admit that by themselves they do not constitute a very satisfying meal :?
