Studies which will prove its effectiveness: An "in vitro" as for the HCQ but "in vivo" nothing convincing. We find among the defenders of ivermectin political figures who already defended hydroxychloroquine, such as Florian Philippot (Les Patriotes), François Asselineau (UPR), or Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (Debout la France). They also relayed the hashtag #BebraveWHO (be courageous at the WHO), launched in March on Twitter, which aims to call on the World Health Organization to authorize the use of this treatment. The France Soir site is also one of the most ardent defenders of the drug, mentioned in nearly a hundred articles.
Scientists and practitioners also publicly support this treatment, such as retired urological surgeon Gérard Maudrux, very active on the blogs of Mediapart and of the Quotidien du Médecin, also author for France Soir. Japanese microbiologist Satoshi Omura, awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize for having co-discovered ivermectin, has, for his part, affirmed, alongside other researchers, that once "the effectiveness of ivermectin against Covid -19 will be confirmed ”, the benefits of the drug could“ prove to be comparable to the benefits derived from the discovery of penicillin ”.
Several of them recommended not to use ivermectin against Covid-19. In a statement on March 31, the WHO said that "the current evidence on the use of ivermectin to treat patients with Covid-19 is inconclusive." In the absence of evidence, and "until more data is available", she recommends that "the drug should only be used in clinical trials."
The organization is thus following in the footsteps of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which, ten days earlier, advised against "the use of ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of Covid-19 outside of randomized clinical trials" .
In France, the use of ivermectin is not recommended either. On April 1, the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) refused to grant a temporary authorization for use, based on an opinion issued on January 27 by the High Council for Health public (HCSP). In its decision, the ANSM declares:
“The analysis of published data (...) due to their methodological limitations does not support a clinical benefit of ivermectin regardless of its context of use, in curative treatment or in prevention of Covid-19 disease. » https://www.lemonde.fr/les-decodeurs/ar ... 55770.html

This is where I have a little trouble understanding why it does not arouse the suspicion of some forumeurs (or others) opposed to this kind of current / characters ...

This is the fate of all those who walk outside the box and whose history shows that it was they who were right against the conservative thinkers of their time! But, fortunately, while the dogs bark, the trailer continues to pass.Who apart from Raoult and Péronne?
