Sorry I don't believe in the disinfectant properties of LED UVc ... it's just black light and gadget ...
If it was effective it would have to be used with an eye protection mask: not really what the Chinese sells with the kid next door!
Please don't spoil this subject with your unsuitable products!

Re: Covid19 virus: the disinfectant mask by thermal viral inhibition (+ UVc?)?
A disinfecting UVc bulb is not purple ... but very clear bluish ... very white light and produces Ozone necessarily and which strongly damages the eyes!
Difficult to design with these Chinese gadgets ... In any case it is not me who would test them vs the life-size covid19!
I understand that the photo effect can affect the colors but ... I remain very wary of these products.
On the other hand, UVc in a pond or aquarium, they are effective: and that is why we cannot see them in operation: all are in UV containers!
It is certainly an index of efficiency!
The concern is that they are generally supplied with 230V AC ... and that they require a ballast like neon or xenon ... I don't know if this will be easy to convert to LV ...

Hello Christophe,
your analyzes are good! but I only gave one idea ultimately that of plasma ... lighter and it would work colleagues told me
"good idea !!"
UVCs have been used against viruses in operating rooms and in decontamination for quite a few years.

A colleague (researcher) of GREMI (ionized "plasma" media) makes "educational videos on Youtube and recently she
made a video about plasmas in medicine:
and in the comments I asked her about disinfection with DBD plasma and she said yes:
our comments:

Hello ! bravo for these explanations and demonstrations of the potential of a plasma in medicine. A question comes to me! if by the process of a dielectric barrier discharge plasma (DBD) it is possible to treat organic materials or solids on the surface. Knowing that this type of plasma generates ozone and that it is germicidal against bacteria, do not we could not imagine a portable system to disinfect certain places in hospitals or even public places. there are already UV-C tubes but do you think it would be possible in the form of plasmas to do something? Thank you

Very good remark! And yes it is quite possible and some seek to do so. There is a French box that works on the subject, where their goal is to create machines to sterilize medical equipment that is currently complicated to sterilize, such as equipment for endoscopy for example.
In any case I would like to see your thermal prototype, what it would be interesting then to have it tested in an epidemiological lab.
see you soon Christophe ... I'm going back to my telework

For your question:
yes we can supply a small tube or even large tubes with electronic voltage converters
"switching power supply"
and I found this for you
