Obviously today, you have to get into the plot to get an audience ...
And it's not just France, eh! What is, on the other hand, hardly understandable is that Raoult is French ... so we should have been able to go for more than 15 days already!
Why is France hiding a tested, inexpensive remedy against the virus?

After the proofs of the State lies revealed by Mediapart concerning the calamitous management, at the top of the State, of the crucial management of the masks, it is appropriate, in my opinion, to ask other questions about the lack of it. government and in particular why France prohibits, to fight against the virus, a remedy which is tested, inexpensive and which obtains encouraging results when there is currently no other convincing alternative.
Below is an article on this subject from Pepe Escobar:
Why is France hiding a remedy against the tested and inexpensive virus?
It appears that the French government is helping Big Pharma to take advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic.
What is happening in the fifth largest economy in the world suggests a major collusion scandal in which the French government is helping Big Parma to take advantage of the expansion of the Covid-19. Informed French citizens are absolutely furious about this.
My first question to a serious and irreproachable Parisian source, the lawyer Valérie Bugault, related to the dangerous connections between Macronisme and Big Pharma and especially on the mysterious "disappearance" - more probably the outright theft - of all stocks of chloroquine in the possession of the French government.
The respected Professor Christian Perronne spoke of this flight live on one of the French news channels that runs 24/7: “The central pharmacy of hospitals announced today that they were facing a total shortage of stocks , that they had been looted. "
Thanks to the contribution of another anonymous source, it is now possible to establish a calendar that puts recent actions of the French government into perspective.
Let's start with Yves Levy, who was head of INSERM - the National Institute of Health and Medical Research - from 2014 to 2018, after having been appointed extraordinary State Councilor for the Macron administration. Only 12 people in France have achieved this status.
Levy is married to Agnès Buzyn, who until recently was Minister of Health under Macron
Buzyn has in fact received an "offer that we cannot refuse" from Macron's party to leave the Ministry - in the midst of a coronavirus crisis - and to appear at the City Hall of Paris, where she was mercilessly beaten in the first round March 16.
Levy is waging a relentless fight against Professor Didier Raoult, prolific and often cited specialist in communicable diseases, based in Marseille. Levy has withdrawn the INSERM label from the world-renowned IHU (Institute Hospital-University) research center managed by Raoult.
In practice, in October 2019, Levy revoked the status of "foundation" of the various IHUs in order to be able to resume their research.
Raoult participated in a clinical trial in which hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin cured 90% of Covid-19 cases when tested very early. (Early and mass testing are at the heart of the successful South Korean strategy).
Raoult is opposed to the total confinement of healthy individuals and potential carriers - whom he considers "medieval" in the anachronistic sense. He is in favor of mass testing (a method that, like in South Korea, has been successful in Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam) and rapid treatment with hydroxychloroquine. Only contaminated individuals should be contained.
Chloroquine costs one euro for ten pills. And that's where the rub: Big Pharma - which crucially funds INSERM, and of which the "national champion" Sanofi is a member - would prefer a much more profitable solution. For now, Sanofi says it is "actively preparing" to produce chloroquine, but it may take "weeks", and there is no mention of the price.
Minister fleeing tsunami
Here is the timeline:
On January 13, Agnès Buzyn, still the French Minister of Health, classified chloroquine as a “toxic substance”, now only available on prescription. An astonishing decision, if we consider that it has been sold on the French market for half a century.
On March 16, the Macron government ordered partial containment. There is not a word about chloroquine. At first, the police are not required to wear masks; most were stolen anyway, and there are not enough masks, even for health workers. In 2011, France had nearly 1,5 billion masks: 800 million surgical masks and 600 million masks for health professionals in general.
But then, over the years, strategic stocks have not been renewed, to satisfy the EU and to apply the Maastricht criteria, which limited adherence to the Growth and Stability Pact to countries whose budget deficit does not not exceed 3% of GDP. One of those responsible at the time was Jérôme Salomon, now a scientific advisor to the Macron government.
On March 17, Agnès Buzyn declared that she had learned that the spread of COVID-19 will be a real tsunami, for which the French health system has no solution. She also says that she understood that the election of the Mayor of Paris "would not take place" and that it was, in the end, "a masquerade".
What she is not saying is that she did not make a public statement at the time she ran because Macron's entire political machine was focused on winning the "masquerade". The first round of the election was insignificant as the Covid-19 continued to spread. The second round was postponed indefinitely. She had to be informed of the impending health disaster. But as a candidate for the Macron machine, she did not release her results to the public in a timely fashion.
In rapid succession:
The Macron government refuses to apply mass testing, as has been successfully practiced in South Korea and Germany.
Le Monde and the French public health agency describe Raoult's research as false news, before retracting.
Professor Perrone reveals on the LCI news channel that the stock of chloroquine from the central pharmacy in France has been stolen.
Thanks to a tweet from Elon Musk, President Trump says that chloroquine should be available to all Americans. People suffering from lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, who already have supply problems with the only medicine that offers them relief, inflame social networks with their panic.
Doctors and other health care professionals in the United States are hoarding the drug for their own use and that of their loved ones, falsifying prescriptions to indicate that they are intended for patients with lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.
Morocco purchases chloroquine stock from Sanofi in Casablanca.
Pakistan decides to increase its production of chloroquine to send it to China.
Switzerland renounces the total confinement of its population, opts for mass tests and rapid treatment, and accuses France of practicing a "spectacle policy".
Christian Estrosi, the Mayor of Nice, having received treatment with chloroquine, calls Sanofi directly to have chloroquine delivered to hospitals in Nice without any intervention from the government.
Thanks to Raoult's research, a large-scale chloroquine test is finally starting in France, under the - predictable - direction of INSERM, which wants to "repeat the experiments in other independent medical centers". It will take at least six more weeks, while the scientific council of the Palais de l'Elysée is now considering extending the total lockdown of France to… six weeks.
If the combined use of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin is definitively effective in the most seriously ill, quarantines may be reduced in certain selected groups.
The only French company that still manufactures chloroquine is the subject of legal intervention. This puts into perspective the hoarding and theft of chloroquine. It will take time for these stocks to be replenished, which will give Big Pharma the flexibility it needs to get what it wants: an expensive solution.
It seems that the perpetrators of the chloroquine theft were very knowledgeable.
Packed nurses
This chain of events, amazing for a highly developed G-7 country and proud of its health service, is part of a long and painful process rooted in neoliberal dogma. EU-imposed austerity, coupled with the pursuit of profit, has resulted in extreme laxity in the health care system.
As Bugault told me,
"Screening kits - very few - were still available, but especially for a small group linked to the French government [former officials of the Ministry of Finance, CEOs of large companies, oligarchs, media and entertainment magnates]. The same goes for chloroquine, which this government has done everything to make inaccessible to the public.
They did not make life easy for Professor Raoult - he received death threats and was intimidated by "journalists".
And they did not protect vital stocks. Already under the Holland government, there was a conscious liquidation of the stock of masks - present in large quantities in all hospitals. Without forgetting that the suppression of hospital beds and hospital resources has accelerated under Sarkozy.
This is in line with the worried reports of French citizens who claim that nurses must now use trash bags due to the lack of appropriate medical equipment.
At the same time, another astonishing fact, the French State refuses to requisition hospitals and private clinics - which are practically empty at this stage - even though the President of their association, Lamine Garbi, pleaded in favor of this initiative of public service :
“I solemnly request that we be requisitioned to help public hospitals. Our facilities are ready. The wave that surprised eastern France must teach us a lesson. ”
Bugault reconfirms that the health situation in France "is very serious and will worsen further due to these political decisions - absence of masks, political refusal to massively test people, refusal of free access to chloroquine - in a context of supreme distress in hospitals. It will last and shortages will be the norm. ”
Professor against President
In an explosive outcome on Tuesday, Raoult said he would no longer participate in Macron's scientific council, even if he did not abandon him completely. Raoult once again insists on mass testing nationwide to detect suspicious cases, then isolate and treat patients who test positive. Clearly: the South Korean model.
This is exactly what is expected of the Marseille IHU, where hundreds of residents continue to queue for screening. And this is in line with the findings of leading Chinese expert on Covid-19, Zhang Nanshan, who claims that the chloroquine phosphate treatment had a "positive impact", with the patients testing negative after about four days.
The essential point was stressed by Raoult: Use chloroquine in very specific circumstances, for people tested very early, when the disease is not yet advanced, and only in these cases. He doesn't recommend chloroquine for everyone. This is exactly what the Chinese have done, in addition to their use of Interferon.
For years, Raoult has been calling for a radical revision of the economic models of health, so that the treatments, cures and therapies created for the most part during the XNUMXth century, be considered as a heritage in the service of all humanity. : "It is not the case", he says, "because we are abandoning medicine which is not profitable, even if it is effective. This is why there is practically no manufacture of antibiotics in the West. ”
On Tuesday, the French Ministry of Health officially banned the use of the chloroquine treatment recommended by Raoult. In fact, treatment is only allowed for terminally ill Covid-19 patients, with no other cure. This can only expose the Macron government to other accusations of ineffectiveness to a minimum - added to the absence of masks, tests, contact tracing and respirators.
Commenting on the government's new guidelines on Wednesday, Raoult said:
“When the damage to the lungs is too great and the patients arrive to be resuscitated, they practically no longer harbor viruses in their bodies. It is too late to treat them with chloroquine. Are these the only cases - very serious cases - that will be treated with chloroquine under the new Veran directive? "
If so, he added wryly, "then they can say with scientific certainty that chloroquine does not work."
Raoult was not available to comment on articles in Western media citing Chinese test results that suggest he is mistaken about the effectiveness of chloroquine in treating mild cases of Covid-19.
Rather, staff members commented on his comments in the IHU newsletter. Raoult declares that it is "insulting" to ask if we can trust the Chinese on the use of chloroquine. If it was an American disease and the President of the United States said, "We have to treat patients with this substance," no one would argue.
In China, he added, there was "enough evidence for the Chinese government and all Chinese experts who know about coronaviruses to take an official position that 'we have to deal with chloroquine'. From the time we have the first results to an accepted international publication, there is no credible alternative among the most knowledgeable people in the world. They took this step in the interest of public health. ”
Crucially: if he was infected with a coronavirus, Raoult said that he would take chloroquine. Given that Raoult is considered by his peers to be the world's leading communicable disease expert, well above Dr. Anthony Fauci in the United States, I would say that the new reports rather reflect the discourse of Big Pharma.
Raoult was mercilessly denigrated and demonized by the French corporate media, which are controlled by a few oligarchs closely linked to Macronism. It is no coincidence that demonization even reached the Yellow Vests, in particular because of the very popular hashtag #IlsSavaient, with which the Yellow Vests emphasize that the French elites have "managed" the Covid-19 crisis by protecting while leaving the population defenseless against the virus.
This ties in with the controversial analysis of distinguished philosopher Giorgio Agamben in a column published a month ago, where he already argued that the Covid-19 clearly shows that the state of emergency - similar to the state of emergency but with important differences for philosophers - has fully normalized in the West.
Agamben expressed himself not as a doctor or a virologist, but as a thinker, in line with Foucault, Walter Benjamin and Hannah Arendt. Noting how a latent state of fear metastasized into a state of collective panic, for which the Covid-19 "once again offers the ideal pretext", he described how, "in a vicious vicious circle, limiting the freedom imposed by governments is accepted in the name of a desire for security which has been induced by the same governments which are now intervening to satisfy it ”.
There was no collective panic in South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam - to name just four Asian examples outside of China. A rigorous combination of mass testing and contact tracing has been applied with immense professionalism. It worked. In the case of China, with the help of chloroquine. And in all the Asian cases, without dark motives of profit for the benefit of Big Pharma.
The murder weapon that proves that the Macron system is not only incompetent to treat Covid-19, but that it is dragging the process so that Big Pharma can develop a miracle vaccine, quickly, has not yet appeared . But the mechanism to dissuade from using chloroquine is more than discussed above - alongside the demonization of Raoult.
