The southern winter is partly responsible for it, but laissez-faire has a lot to do with it. We must take note because this is what awaits us for next winter in the north.

it's also going back to Paris and it's full summer:
Traces of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater in Paris raise questions about a possible return of the epidemic

Should we be alarmed? Almost two months after the lifting of the main containment measures, the quantity of virus detected in Parisian wastewater seems to indicate a slight resumption of the epidemic for the past fortnight, indicate concordant sources.

Light, but for how long?

It's good that you have understood this question of southern winter ... we are moving forward! : Cheesy:
I was the one who talked about it, but there you are slower than Izentrop ...

But you're not there yet, what to observe is New Zealand, even further south ...

New Zealand is led by Jacinda, there will be no outbreak like in Australia. The only cases reported are returning ghosts from infected countries.

That's why I took the example of New Zealand, since Australia is infested with contamination (from the USA among others).

Why take New Zealand as an example ...? To skew the numbers and say “yup there boom it's fine”?

No, just to observe if “it's not going to be right” ... Because if it's not going to be right in New Zealand, which is one of the “least at risk” countries in the southern hemisphere, then there will be a lot to bet that there will be covid in the air during the winter 2020/2021 of the northern hemisphere ... (some experts tell us)

Jean-François Delfraissy: "We are at the mercy of a resumption of the Covid-19 epidemic in France"

The infectious disease specialist believes that compliance with the barrier measures is loosening too quickly in the population, and "does not see how we could avoid a possible second wave in October-November", while the circulation of the new coronavirus is very high on the globe.

According to an article in L'Express: https://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/socie ... 30377.html specialists anticipate a return of the epidemic in the fall ...

If the virus is coming back in force it is because of our behavior as this article rightly says.

The thermolability of the virus does not make it sensitive enough to summer temperatures ... in absolute terms.

The combination of natural UV and surface temperature nevertheless weaken it.

Leave your masks on your car dashboard for 48 hours in the sun and you can be sure that your mask is disinfected. This does not mean that the virus is killed in the air ...

See the dedicated topic.

If the epidemic resumes this winter it is not only because of the temperatures but also because we are more inside and that the human immune organisms are weaker in winter.

Raoult said that the flu is present all year round in certain African countries ... without really specifying which ones if it is sub-Saharan there there is not really a season.

In short, do not count on the climate to stop the epidemic ... some specialists (of my 2) said it in March April ... there is that to see the current figures in the northern hemisphere to show that their specialty they can square it where I think !!
