The video mounts the red orange green blue stations with colors.
A traveler wishing to go from a red station to a blue station takes the red-blue train.
In the red station, only 3 trains stop, red-green, red-orange, red-blue…

Ah well it will take trains, even if they are half, if they run 10s apart!

It's an example...
frankly, a little humility would not hurt.

No, this is not an example. It is a necessary condition for "In all, it took 100 seconds for the 6 trains to pass." to become true.

Patrice was not unemployed last night!
He prepared a COMPARATIVE animation between 2 half trains and 1 train
As you seem strong in coding ... It remains only to add the travelers flow with a counter of the km.passenger traveled ... and then, ideally, some variable parameters! as in the traffic simulator that I presented here: new-transport / simulator-of-traffic-road-to-parameter-variable-t16309.html
And there really convincing ... or not!

It's actually fun to watch, but you should be able to vary some parameters!
There, we are on a stop time at the station identical to the driving time between two stations!
From my personal and almost continuous experience over thirty years, we are rather, on average and with a ladle, on a 3/1 ratio.
Which of course depends on the time of day.
But on average 1mn30 of driving between two stations and 30s of stop at the station, it seems closer to the truth than fifty / fifty.
And that changes everything!

I confirm, you only need to have a few minutes of fun with this one to see how a "small" grain of sand can change everything in a complex system: new-transport / simulator-of-traffic-road-to-parameter-variable-t16309.html
Hence my suggestion to Patrice to do the same as a simulator!

Ah, but I do not mention any "grain of sand", I just "ask" that a simulation working "perfectly", without any incident, is reset to realistic values.
There are only big cons at RATP, it is known, which explains why at peak times they are not able to do better than 80 to 90s between each train ....

What if instead of 6 half-metros we went to 12 quarter-metros?

There you have to ask Patrice72lemans.
