GENERATING CHOICE FOR SMALL WIND TURBINES

by kirika » 26/06/19, 18:05

Hello,

I wish to have opinions and ideas for the choice of a generator (or a generator : Cheesy: ) for my wind turbine: this one runs empty between 50 and 80 revolutions / min by medium wind!
diameter of the wind turbine about 68 cm, horizontal axis!
I do not exclude a system of multiplication of the speed of the axis of the wind turbine, to adapt to the generator
I could build a generator, but I would like to try a model ready for use ^^

2 engines (generator) caught my attention:

1) 24 engine v 300 w for electric bicycle

I suppose this motor is reversible (in that it can produce current if we rotate its axis), so becomes a generator?
I suppose you have to approach 2650 rpm to get the "best" power?
What happens if the engine / generator runs at 1000 RPM? what would be the power provided and estimated?

2) brushless motor 12 - 24 v and 1800 W for electric scooter:

reversible engine in generator?
I do not understand a technical data
KV speed: 270rpm / v
will that mean that for 1 volt consumed, the engine runs at 270 revolutions / min ??
or as a generator, if we run the engine at 2700 revolutions / minutes, we would then get 10 voltage volt ??
Why are there 3 wires in output / motor input?

I thank you if you can take the time to help me a little in understanding
0 x
